    Eventually I would like to own a PL-680. It looks like a nice portable sw radio.

    • @SPimentaTV
      @SPimentaTV  Před 9 lety

      Yes, it is! For me is the best all around radio for DXing. Of course it doesn't exist the perfect radio, but this radio is the most that approximate to be the perfect. And also the best cost/benefit. For me if I need to choose to own only 1 radio, I will choose the Tecsun PL-680.

    Many thanks for the video. I ordered one today based largely on your recommendation. I already have too many receivers Icom R9500, Icom R8600,JRC NRD 515 and 525 and a Yaesu FRG 7700 but I want a small receiver to take on trips both abroad and days out. 73s de G6XYZ

    just to let u know, short and middle wave don't use the external antenna, they use built inside coil. The outside one is mainly used for FM.

      if you already have a PL-660 is not worth the upgrade, but the PL-680 is better

    _You lack the knowledge to search for a short wave. With a high-end radio, it is not necessary to pull out the telescopic antenna._

      You're right, I need an external wire antenna
