The BEST shortwave reception? Tecsun PL-310ET

Maybe the best conditions that you can get when listening short-wave radio! No fading, no interference, almost no noise and very strong signal. The modulation depth could be better, but very good sound quality.
The fading is almost always present even in very strong signals, but in this video isn't there! That's rare. The signal peak at 80-82 dBuV, almost S9 + 50 dB!!!

Hi Sergio, thank you for this video. Unfortunately, my experience with the PL310 has not been so good. I find that it has poor sound quality with any signal that is not strong. This is due to its AGC. It is very sensitive but it grates on my ears. Good luck to you from Scotland.

The USB port will charge the batteries, but I don't know if the radio will work without batteries and be supplied power only by the USB port

On the Twente SDR, there was a local pirate with -9dBm. Once Radio Romania was heard of about -15dBm.

***** Sim adicionar uma antena externa vai aumentar (bastante) o ganho na recepção! Mas, não é necessário comprar a antena Tecsun, porque basta adicionar um fio de qualquer tamanho (quanto mais comprido melhor). Como pode ver no video tenho um fio enrolado na antena. Claro que se você comprar essa antena tem logo a vantagem de ter um plugue para ligar à jack da antena externa e tem como enrolar a antena.
Eu tenho essa antena Tecsun AN-06 e já coloquei um fio qualquer (eu uso cabo de rede de Internet) e não há diferença nenhuma (a não ser que seja mais comprida).
Agora você é que decide se quer comprar ou não.
