Love your work Gary, can you give a tip on where to find a generic fork like this?

The crank puller pushes in the middle, hopefully against the axle. But many times it does not push correctly against the axle. For that reason i always put a very small bolt in the axle. Now the crank puller pushes against that bolt and thus against the axle. Not many people tell you so.

What bars and stem is this? I have found similar style bars but they are all 22.2mm for bmx headsets.

This gotta be your top 5 build Gary. It's stiff and tight. Not a single jingle when dropped. The build is simple but capable. Single speed, great control. Very responsive. Excellent grip on tires. Looks comfortable. Killer color! You nailed it man!!

thanks for the explanation on these different bars. I'm trying out the vo crazy bars on a 80s trek 830 and i like it a lot. not as much backsweep as the losco or albatross, plus forward facing nubbins for a "hoods" position for more aero. theyre 31.8 so im using a quill-to-threadless adapter. riding 21.1 quill bullmoose bars on another '81 schwinn le tour. so fun. i had bought them to try on the trek, but they came in a different quill diameter, that happened to fit the schwinn road bike, and it all worked out.

Well let's see. You've got your v-brake and your wheel, and the pad is adjusted too high causing the pin to rub on the tire, which is visibly wearing through the tire. Presumably we're going to lower the pad arm thing, which would solve the issue... oh wait, no, we're removing the pin that's rubbing so we can remove the pad. OK. Then we take out the little piece of metal you stuck in your pad so you could do this demonstration. Then we put the pad back, witout fixing the problem. And the pin is still rubbing on the tire, which is about to wear completely through and fail.

I once bought a bicycle in a used bicycle store in Porto, had to neck a can of Superbock in front of the store for a seatpost shim. Rode that thing down the entire portuguese coast. Sometimes you need to what works!
