I know when i got back to biking 6-7 Years ago there was no Skinwall/Tanwall Tire to be found NOWHERE. The only one were the Panaracers Dart/Smoke. I love to see the Skinwalls coming back.

I accidentally bought a wrong set of Schwalbe for my 29'. They are TAN-ish but with a dark beige - reddish tinge.. They were very cheap on the internet and then I knew why. Skinwall just looks more "familiar". No matter how many times I see them, I don't begin to like them. But looks still better than the all black Stock Kenda's my bike came with.

Sick vid mate, these tyres and grips look like the grouse. I’m currently using really similar Ergo branded grips. I’m very keen on these grips, and might seek them out in the future. Cheers for sharing🤙

I have the same tires. 1 they look rad. 2 they roll better then our typical mtb tire

Nice looking tires! I like the tight center tread pattern for low rolling resistance. If I had a set I'd experiment with reversing the tread direction the other way around on the rear. Anticipating more traction for climbing possibly. 🤔
Ooo that is interesting, I think some ppl used to run rear tyres on the front to get more grip way back
@@garysprojects O' Yes they did! My local bike shop way back in the day which sponsored a race team convinced me to run a Panaracer" Smoke " up front for front end cornering grip! Haha, you know your history.👍

Love the Videos Gary. I’m new to modding bikes, still learning and after watching one of your vids last year I recently restomoded a shogun Trailbreaker 1 to a similar setup to the TB 3 v2 you restored previously.
Now I’m looking at tyres to use to go bike trekking around the rail trails in Victoria and cruising the burbs next summer with a rack on the back and a pannier .
Do you think these tyres would be a good match?

Cheers mate! I appreciate that. These tyres are a great in-between for road / off road , so if you do a bit of both it’s a good fit. They are made for tubeless but work well on my rims , if you’re running tubeless already even better!

Ive never used tubeless but its not really warranted on an ebike but i did just find self healing inner tubes...

@@garysprojects I just started uising knee pads manly to keep stuff hitting my shins but came off and they saved my knee ..It was the first thing that touched the ground and then my hands took the rest but walked away very pleased I was not in hospital having knee surgery...

Pretty sure they do? The have 700c x 42 of their Rosé and Cava profiles and 29 x 2.22 of this pattern, the Mars

@@luisespel9949 they do 29" 2.2 but don't know if that would fit a 700c rim properly. But yea the rosé is the closest to the mars in 700c
