My old factory I stayed at for 9 years... and at the end I was the assistant foreman, new guys saying the job was too hard would always pull stuff like "must be nice to sit in your chair, we are out here actually working" without realizing that every person in that building started at the bottom It was always one of those situations where I would sigh, get out of my chair, and show them how it's done... then ask "what's the problem again?"

Our plant manager who claims he can run everything in that building better than anyone will talk to you like your an idiot for not hitting rate on parts and brag bout how is numbers were even on jobs alot of us have full confirmation he has NEVER ran. But then wont prove it to noone cause we all know he cant and he doesnt want to prove his stupidity and destroy his ego.

I once had a job at Goodwill Industries, supervising handicapped workers at a cardboard factory. You know when you get a box and it's got the cardboard dividers in it? They had to assemble those and they got 13 cents apiece. Believe me by the end of the day they were making bank. They worked harder and faster than anyone I had ever known they weren't getting paid by the hour they were getting paid by the piece. F#$& Goodwill

At the factory/warehouse I’m currently at, I do machine operation and packing. The man who trained me showed me everything he knew within the 3 weeks he had me, then put me on my own machine. I stumbled the first day but after I had found my rhythm, my production numbers became #2 of the top 3 producers. Who am I behind? The woman who trained the man who trained me. She has more experience than I have years lived and is an absolute unit packed in a 4’7, 90 lb, 72 year old woman.
People said this type of jobs will be replaced by ai. But reality is ai replaced software engineers, designers, marketers, accountant. And this type of job will be last to be replaced by ai
Automation will reduce some job roles and stuff but yeah. If it manages to go that far and be developed well enough to be suitable for deployment in many different factory settings worldwide. Yeah then yeah.
Just imagine that all you do is cut that same piece of paper everyday for 8 hours per day. Eventually you will know when to cut that paper and where to place that knife. And when you didn’t cut it properly

Just imagine that all you do is cut that same piece of paper everyday for 8 hours per day. Eventually you will know when to cut that paper and where to place that knife. And when you didn’t cut it properly
@@Cre9000 я знаю, как это, делать одно и то же действие по 8 часов. Просто Вы видимо не имели никакого опыта в работе с рулонной бумагой. Во-первых, рулон утончается, а значит место реза меняется, во-вторых, рулон скользит по трубе, там нет никаких подшипников, а значит скорость вращения может изменится в любой момент. Нож движется немного косо, чтобы компенсировать вращение рулона. Автоматический резак на инженерной машине стоит около 7500€, но он не может резать с такой скоростью, оборудование финальной обрезки поточных принтеров стоит раз в 30 дороже, и оно быстрее. Так что я восхищаюсь, прекрасно понимая ценность этого работника.

I would rather see more seconds of the actual event and fewer seconds of the face of someone reacting to the event, which is why I scroll away from these types of videos. The event itself is fascinating, the 'reaction' I don't need to see.
