The view of room 929 and room 928 are very similar but can be distinguished by the pillow orientation in the rooms. The official hotel website states that they cannot accept requests for guest room numbers or locations, but since you are going all the way to Japan, you should try to make a request to the hotel in advance.

Thank you for watching! I just got home from a trip to Kyoto the day before yesterday, and it was very hot. Kyoto is a basin surrounded by mountains on all sides, very hot in summer and freezing cold in winter. January is very cold, but it is a less touristy month of the year, and I am sure it was easy for you to do your sightseeing. This hotel is well located in front of Kyoto Station, has good customer service and is very relaxing.
