  • A relatively new shrine built after the war in Musashi kosugi, Kawasaki City. It is said that the shrine was built to pray for the reconstruction of the area after the chaotic postwar period. The shrine is a popular hidden spot with its unique precincts featuring as many as 108 statues of foxes. The shrine offers blessings for a good harvest, prosperous business, matchmaking, and improvement of skills. At the entrance is a large vermilion gate of considerable size, flanked on both sides by large statues of sacred foxes. Once inside the shrine grounds, visitors will find a powerful three-story reinforced concrete shrine pavilion and a magnificent vermilion torii gateway modeled after the Senbon-torii gateway (1,000 torii gates) at the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine in Kyoto. The Shofuku Pond behind the torii gate is dedicated to Chikubushima Benzaiten, a deity enshrined in Lake Biwa in Shiga Prefecture. A large number of statues of foxes are placed around the Shofuku Pond. Fuji Sengen Shrine is also located here, with a magnificent torii gate and a model of Mt. Fuji painted on lava brought from Mt. To the left of it sits Hakusansha Shrine with a smaller torii gate. It was a photogenic shrine with a large red torii gate, many statues of divine foxes, a splendid main shrine, a regent shrine with a mini Mt. Fuji.
