Kobe Meriken Park Oriental Hotel, Kobe, Japan - Hotel where cruise ships around the world anchor

This hotel is surrounded by 270 degrees of the sea. All guest rooms are equipped with a balcony from which you can enjoy the feeling of a cruise ship while viewing Kobe Port. The hotel is like a luxury cruise ship floating in the harbor. On the second floor of the hotel is the Naka Pier cruise Terminal, where cruise ships enter and leave port, and it is common to see foreign cruise ships and hear the powerful sound of their steam whistles. On this day, the Silver Whisper, a small all-suite luxury cruise ship, was anchored. I stayed in a junior suite on the west side with a view of the illuminated Ferris wheel, and I watched the Silver Whisper excitedly from my balcony. If you check the arrival and departure schedule of the luxury cruise ship and book a room on the west side, you can see the scene as shown in the video. After the Silver Whisper departed, I relaxed and watched the illumination of the Ferris wheel and the ships passing by. The sight of the many colors of illumination shimmering on the water as well was too beautiful for words. Guests staying in suites and executive rooms have access to an exclusive lounge. Breakfast is American breakfast, afternoon tea features French pastries, savories, and snacks, and cocktail time offers a variety of appetizers, wines, and other aperitifs. Sandwiches are hearty, and there is also a wide variety of sweets, so I was full. For breakfast, the truffle-flavored Awaji onion and mushroom omelette was unforgettable. There is also a unique juicer where you could drink fresh-squeezed orange juice. The terrace restaurant "Santa Monica’s wind" is currently under renovation, and the Port Tower, which can be seen from the hotel, is also under construction and covered by a construction sheet with red lines painted on it. I remember that this was my fourth stay at the hotel, but next time I would like to stay in a single room facing the Port Tower and view the beautiful Port Tower from the balcony after the construction sheets are removed.
