Sorry, i had 99 Turbo as well as 900 GLS. Both totally unreliable, high cost repairs. Shitty engine. I admit, looks are nice. Saab mechanic said, sorry Sir not made for speed.

Hi, great video and very helpful. Question though, at 15:40 you check shoe orientation, at which time the cut-away areas are facing the adjustment screws. But then at 16:25 you install springs but appear to invert the bottom shoe with the cut-away facing the cylinder. I thought those cut away areas were both supposed to face towards adjustment-screws. Was this a mistake? Or am I installing the shoes incorrectly?

Why don't they make this in a roller applied sealant such as used in many other applications. You wouldn't have to mask off the whole car and overpay while half your product blows away in the wind.

Heidi has such a nice smile...Frannie is so mechanically inclined and looks good with tools in her hands. I had cataract surgery, and the surgeon just did not look like she knew what she was doing. There's just something about being coordinated with tools in your hands. Either you have it or you don't. I'm glad I inherited my father's mechanical ability...Happy Sailing... The song "Southern Cross" is awesome to listen to while boating. I always bring an acoustic guitar and play that song when I'm on the water. Stay Happy and Healthy....

I'm working on a Volkswagen engine and it runs a portable sawmill made in troutdale Oregon. It has no alternator no generator and it's a magneto ignition. I wonder what rod they got in that for the fuel pump. Also how can I tell what year the engine is I'm working on I know it's 4 cylinder and pull rope to start. Your video helped me figure out real quick how to route the fuel lines from the pump to the carb and from the tank to the pump. Thank you.

You said your not a fan of 4 cylinders. You should do a video on the 69 Saab with the Ford V4 engine and 4 on the tree. I never heard of a v4 till i bought one for $200 in 2001. Ended loving it and the car it self. Of course the previous owner turned it into a convertible.

As new as your boat is, it's doubtful that the turbo heat shield is asbestos. More likely a benign ceramic fiber material..
