Good luck with your purchase. Not sure if he is still there, but there is a guy that goes by "cat man" that performs with his cats in Key West every night at sunset. A fun 30 minutes for the cat enthusiasts.

Welcome to the neighborhood! I live in Hollywood. Please be extra careful riding your Vespas down here. Scooter riders get run over all the time in South Florida. 1000 pedestrians and cyclists are killed every year in Florida and they don't include scooter riders in that body count. Plus Governor Desaster and the Florida legislators just made it next to impossible for motorcycle/scooter riders to sue a driver after they get hit.
Yes, the driving is insane. Our scooters are here with us for the summer in Maryland.

Best advice growing up in a yacht club, "Never buy a boat!" Charter, lease, steal or borrow, never buy.

I'm So pumped, please have a look at aluminium hulls, instead of fibreglass, and u need low draft, preferably with dagger boards, it will give u a much better lifestyle as u can get into many shallower bays, rivers and I let's. 🌈 please talk with John and Eli from BarefootDrsSailing. They will help u heaps, they know their stuff. Don't buy until uv had a full survey. Oh no I've just realised this is not in real time, so I'm sure u have already got ur new pride and joy. 😲
Yes, we have a boat already. Watch the transition video ( video before this last one).
Aluminum hulls are a lot of work and I’d recommend staying away. Dagger boards can be useful but like everything in sailing they have pluses and minuses. Very few large Catamarans actual have them because of the downside. One of the downsides is costs. If you were to break a carbon fiber dagger board you will fine it costs as much as a new Porsche!
@@danknox9986 well Dan, u don't buy carbon fibre unless ur filthy rich anyway. Lots new cats have dagger boards, and aluminium is a strong, lightweight, easy material to work with, but hey, each to their own, I was just suggesting. Hava nice day 🌈👅
Only two days boat owners a happy...the day when they buy the boat and the day when they sell the boat. I hope this isn't true for you ladies and enjoy your new endeavor.

Keep the apartment and find some friends with a boat. MUCH LESS STRESSFUL and FAR less expensive

Not many things are more needy than a boat (in the "vehicle " world).
Example: You will never fix everything. It's a slow trickle of issues that never really stops. Some are just worse than others.
More boat, more problems. (The bigger they get, the more engines it has, the more money you need to set aside)
They are fun, though. But in my experience, the "issues/money" soon outweigh the joy.
Make sure you get a very detailed pre purchase inspection and hope they didn't miss anything.
Lol, if you think cars can be a rabbit hole of issues and money, just you wait.
The boat is secretly saying, " YOU think that car repair was expensive... Hold My Beer, and look what I can do!"
