For round beads, I would've definitely just balled rods or 12/10 gauge wire letting them drop down into some cold water once they got too heavy. I've been looking to cast spiked beads since I can't find any pure copper spike beads.

That’s not working very well at all

Thank you! You’ve convinced me I can do copper! I currently use argon for aluminum, and I have thoriated tungsten for when I do stainless, and I have a TIG machine that can put out 750 amps if needed! Another video showed I can use copper wire as a filler! If I planned to do copper a lot, I would set up specifically for it. But since I only need to tie a couple of electric buss bars together and they don’t have to look pretty, I’m sure now I can give it a go! THANKS again!!

As to your message: "End World Hunger", I applaud your awareness of the issue. Sadly, the cause is not a "Nature" issue, but a "greed and profit" one. Over the 20th and into this century, corporations use quotas to regulate prices. Produce that exceeds their targets are disposed of to keep the illusion of scarcity and lack. I remember back in 1973 when I think it was DelMonte, completely destroyed their banana plantations in South Africa to increase the price from 10 cents a pound to one dollar a pound. They still had their operations in Central and South America, where labor at that time was cheaper. That behavior by corporations is robustly practiced to this day. Sorry for the sermon...but it is really good to see young people like yourself being aware and drawing attention to the global rot based on greed and lies. Excellent work, thanks for sharing.

Tip, try using a heavier hammer,e.g. club hammer, you won't need to hit the bar as many times.

Where do you get the pallets from?

Use a palette breaker. Hammer and crawfoot are useless.

The "Euro" pallets with the blocks of either solid wood, plywood, or sawdust will also come apart easily if you whack the blocks HARD with an 8-pound sledge parallel to the deck. There's a lot more waste, strips of MDF and such but many of these "Euro's" feature plywood decks. I have become much more discriminating about which pallets I pick up, I have a dozen or so to strip before the snow flies.

thank you Charis , i did buy a 36 inch crowbar and as you said its too thick to fit between the wooden planks . its just good for destroying something. i used it to take a couch apart . it was great for that if you don't care about the pieces. i will try your method. it about working smarter not stronger. love the attire . but maybe some safety gloves to :). i think the term for tools is crowbar and Prybar

Use helium for TIG welding copper. Argon will give you a crap weld.
