    Well done for persevering, it looks brilliant.
    If you are cutting more steel bits then it may be worth buying a hacksaw, either junior or full size, and some quality fine tooth blades. That will make it a lot easier to cut straight lines accurately. Also some larger steel working files for cleaning up.
    Those rivets are tiny! Amazed you managed to knock those down without more damage! Time allowing I think I would make a rivet set to help that process. A rivet set is a small anvil with a rivet head shaped dimple in it to support the head while you hammer the other end. Also having countersinking the hole before setting the rivet helps too. Something to try when you have the time.
    But amazing work, and a great design idea. :-)

    Nice vid but looks more like uterus and ovaries than a crucifix
