I love this place and the Ruddy family is so welcoming, its a unique place where the designer is the owner and operator. A real treasure. One thing about the EC... they space the tee times out so you feel like you're the only person on the course. Spoils you, especially when on a weekend you're backed up on the tee for an entire round

The previous course was much better. The back nine was spectacular. UVA ruined at great golf course. The number of parallel holes and blind shots with the re-design will get people seriously hurt.

Thank you! Exactly what I was looking for - I am playing there for the first time this weekend. Also, it would be helpful if you could add estimated yardage to the hole for a set of tees and keep the hole info text up during the entire flyover (it disappears once the tee box is out of sight). Also, commentary on what the hole entails type stuff would be a plus (e.g. dog-left, creek 250 yards out that goes across the fareway, leaves 100 yards to the hole with water on right-hand side of green)! Just found myself rewinding the flyovers trying to figure out the hole and how to play it. But perfect, simple video otherwise!

It's a course in Ireland for Americans, this is what happens all over the world, Americans pay ridiculous rates but don't care, the money doesn't go to the local economy and people who live there lose every way. £500+ for a round of golf is obscene

I'm going next week and planning to play. But I read a review on tripadvisor that said it's way overpriced and course was not in great shape. Poster said one hole even had a temp green. Did you see any issues? Is it worth 300/rd?

What time of year did you play?

Spectacular video, I used it to scout the course which I played today. 1 inch of rain yesterday and 25-40mhp winds plus it was 40 and the sun only peeked us a few times lol. This course kicked my butt today, but this video definitely helped me make holes beat me up less! I hope you do more DMV course drone shots if you have the time!

This so cool! I had this course on Microsoft Links golf game. I always loved that tee shot on hole 2. Even on a game that tee shot was so much fun! I envy you that you actually got to take that shot carried it off successfully. Way to go. You took me back to those days playing that game. I still miss it.

I played Lahinch in a 30mph wind, gusting to 40 in two hail storms. Also, I played a par three with a 5 wood and was 40 yards short. Concerning the “quirk” comment, the only thing Lahinch lacks is the windmill and clowns mouth.

Can’t wait to go back. Lahinch is a course I think I will enjoy even more the second and third time around.

Great video! We are planning a trip to the DR for next year and I am looking to either play Punta Esparza or Corales. It depends o. How my driver accuracy is doing by then. I don’t feel like losing a dozen balls and wasting a caddie’s time.

Think The Island is my favourite golf course in Ireland - 13 and 14 being just the best two of 18 fantastic holes. Our four had a great day there in a Dublin holiday and we also spent 8 days doing the West coast & Ring of Kerry. I'm told we should try to play Baltray someday and only one of the group has been to Donegal and raves about it.

But is it worth 200 euros to play it?
