  • Blue Mash Golf Course, located in Laytonsville, Maryland, is a popular golf course for knowledgeable Maryland Golfers. Known for its challenging and well-maintained layout, Blue Mash is a hidden gem that is a must-play. This course features a great combination of links and parkland-style design with wide fairways, numerous bunkers, and large greens intermixed with tight holes lined with tree-lined fairways. Golfers often praise its excellent conditioning and picturesque scenery. Designed by architect Arthur Hills, Blue Mash offers a variety of tee options, making it suitable for a wide range of golfers. The course provides multiple holes with excellent risk-reward opportunities, especially on the short par 4s. In my opinion, the Par 3s are the more difficult holes at Blue Mash. The course keeps you engaged throughout, and with multiple water holes and tall grass on several holes, this course is not a pushover. The course also features an all grass range and large short game area, which is not only great for warming up but also honing your game.

Spectacular video, I used it to scout the course which I played today. 1 inch of rain yesterday and 25-40mhp winds plus it was 40 and the sun only peeked us a few times lol. This course kicked my butt today, but this video definitely helped me make holes beat me up less! I hope you do more DMV course drone shots if you have the time!

Love this 18 hole flyover, Charles. Looks like a really cool course on interesting terrain. I love seeing the work of architects whose courses I haven't been to, even if it is on CZcams!

Thank you! Exactly what I was looking for - I am playing there for the first time this weekend. Also, it would be helpful if you could add estimated yardage to the hole for a set of tees and keep the hole info text up during the entire flyover (it disappears once the tee box is out of sight). Also, commentary on what the hole entails type stuff would be a plus (e.g. dog-left, creek 250 yards out that goes across the fareway, leaves 100 yards to the hole with water on right-hand side of green)! Just found myself rewinding the flyovers trying to figure out the hole and how to play it. But perfect, simple video otherwise!
