    Greystone, rum point, rocky gap. Just to name a few

      Rocky Gap is a great layout, but conditions could use some improvement. Some trees need to be cut back in places, making an already tough course, at times a little much. Still good bones, worth playing for sure.

      @@gbone2636 What turned me off to Rocky Gap is one it's all the way near Cumberland. But also the food at the resort was atrocious. Would love to play there again but I don't think I can deal w/ that resort again.

    You missed PB Dye, Maryland National and one of the Montgomery County Golf courses (Little Bennet)
    PB Dye just hosted the US Open first round qualifier.

    I have played every single one of these courses except the one at Wisp and Perry Cabin. Lake Presidential is a dump. Good choices, all great courses. PB Dye is outstanding as is Maryland National and Musket Ridge.

      @@parfessor 1. Musket Ridge 2. Rum Pointe 3. PB Dye 4. Blue Mash 5. Whiskey Creek.. honorable mention.. River Marsh, Queenstown River, Md National, Lighthouse, Bulle Rock .. To me what makes a great course is one that has some short par 5's and a drivable par 4 and short and long par 3's and some dog legs.. Musket has it all. Great course that is so much fun to play. Def my favorite in Md. Swan Point and Perry Cabin are up next!!

    Need to swap out lighthouse sound for rum point. Lighthouse sound was in abysmal shape this season - they really had balls charging what they were without any mention of the condition. They pretty much lost the entire back 9. No exaggeration - public courses in the Bronx were in better shape

      @TH-wp7ye Před rokem

      So true, I saw so many good reviews for lighthouse and when I went there last summer it was in awful condition, as bad as the worst municipal courses near me, not only that the tee time was so expensive especially compared to rum pointe price. Rum pointe was in immaculate condition and is the best course in OC hands down not even close.
