Thank you for watching! The Back 9 will be posted soon and then we'll have The Bridges and Little Bennett after that!
I'd like to see you get lessons from a PGA pro tighten up some of those pesty fundamentals. As a former golf instructor I think with a little work/instruction you could shoot in the 70's consistently. It would be an interesting vlog series taking lessons and improving. If you had the time and interest I would find that content interesting.
@@GoldChump I appreciate your confidence in my athletic ability lol. I played baseball very seriously growing up and decided to stop in college. I've been playing golf for 6 years but I've never had a lesson and I've never been fitted for clubs. I'm looking into taking a lesson or two because I agree, I think I could do better.
@@dumpygolf Baseball players make good golfers, but you will need to apply the fundamentals of golf to get better. I'd recommend Jack Nicklaus, "Golf My Way" book. Get the one published around 1973. In that book it goes over the fundamentals for his swing, but also other type swings from the likes of Gary Player and Lee Trevino ect. There is more than one way to get to the ball and Jack in the early versions of the book does a good job describing what is happening, what is important, and why. There are a million books on golf, but this book is older making it clear and simple and from one of the best. Having a good understanding of the fundamentals would help a lot later getting with a PGA pro. Time and interest have a lot to do with a commitment to golf as opposed to just having fun with friends. But, I do believe you could quickly jump up a few levels with very little effort.
Some big holes on that course. Nice playing! Happy Thanksgiving
Thank you! Happy Thanksgiving!
Played this one a few times. Man #3 is a beast of a par 4. If you haven't yet, highly recommend Waverly Woods if you enjoyed Blue Mash.
I think we played Waverly Woods a couple years back. That's the course that says they're the official course of the Baltimore Ravens. I'll be there soon!
Happy Thanksgiving Dumpy!
thanks, buddy! be safe!
Play pb dye - happy thanksgiving!
I was supposed to play PB Dye a week or two ago but we had to cancel. It's definitely on the list!
Was it raining?
Yeah, it was raining the first few holes and I think it looks pretty cool on camera lol
I had a young guy asking me if I had any random 6 irons for sale on my marketplace page.. Was that you? 😂😂😂 when I heard you didn’t have a 6i that’s what I immediately thought of lol
Haha nice. There's nothing worse than it being cart path only and you don't bring the right clubs 🫠
I used to live in The People's Republic of MD....learned to play golf in MoCo. Got out.
Lol me too! I was born and raised in Baltimore county but now I'm up in York County.
