Do you have a recommendation for an upright bagged vacuum? I have terrible allergies and the Dyson that I’m currently using blasts dust all over the place every time I need to empty it.
I would recommend a Sebo Felix or a Lindhaus upright vacuum. They can be a little pricey but great filtration build quality.
Welcome back! Fantastic vintage Kenmore! Very kind of you to speak gently of your customer. As for Gidget…what a sweet girl!
@@DoctoredGinst I’ve been taking care of this one customer for a couple of years and yes they say don’t get close but it’s very hard not to. I will miss her when she leaves us. As for baby Gidget she is always so sweet and friendly and definitely when the camera is running. lol 😂
Such a cool machine.
@@AwesomeVacuums They don’t make them like this anymore. Sad but true 😜
Very true
So glad to se you posting again! I missed seeing your videos. Welcome back!🎉❤😊
@@mjdamario Thank you my friend. I took some time off so to spend some quality time with my husband and the dogs.
Hey Bunky Nice to see you on again...😀 As I told you before, I had a few of these vacuums in the past and they were Fabulous!!! Kenmore was always my # 1 choice in vacuum cleaner's back then because they did such a great job and I really liked the extra long hose as well!!! And as far as the Hoover twin tub washer goes, I had 4 of them and loved using them all!!! I saw my first Hoover washer back in 1968 when the lady that lived next door to me got one for her apartment... She had just had a baby and there was no hook up for a washer in her apartment so she bought a Hoover and I fell in love with it!!! I was only 8 years old at the time, and I use to go over to her apartment everyday after school and she use to let me do all of her and her husband's wash including the baby's clothes while she took care of the baby and I had a blast with that little machine!!! Thanks for the video Bunky, and have a great day..... Bob
@@maryrobert80 Hi Bob, I so wish I could get my hands on a twin tub once again. I’m sure I would just have a grand time all over again.
@@Bunkysworkshop I know there were a couple on face book marketplace, But I don't know how far it would be from where you live???
@@maryrobert80 It’s like candy 🍬. I want one. lol 😂
Lovely machine, I love the power head 😊
@@HooverLux They do such a good job on the carpet. Now I’m sure you have a great power head around that shop somewhere.
Doesn’t the entire torpedo canister fill up with water defeating the metering function of the valve???
Yes however you have a control knob that you can adjust the amount you wish for your particular pool and situation.
I have a lot of dents or divots in my pool to be honest when I was putting in my liner, I probably could’ve done a better job so there is some uneven terrain. Will this still clean it? What do you think?
@@2674nismo We love this thing a lot. I think it would work and let me just give an idea for you and let me know what you think. I say make the purchase and if its not doing the job too you liking you can just return it. I can say we don’t have any complaints but one pool bottom is pretty smooth. However with its tracks being so wide and on both sides i think it would work.
FIRST, I want to thank you for turning the dryer UPSIDE DOWN LOOKING FOR THE LOCKING MECHANISM! THANK YOU THANK YOU! I unboxed mine yesterday and didn’t read the instructions smh, so I didn’t know how to turn it on so I searched for instructional vids. Yours didn’t come up, but one did and it mentioned nothing about locking mechanism. I found your other video today where you unboxed it and turned it upside down looking for lioking mechanism. When your dryer made the beeping sound when you turned it on and mine didn’t, and when I turned my dryer on and a lil water came out I knew something was wrong so I turned mine upside down and saw that locking mechanism was still attached! I removed it and my Panda works great, thank you so much!
@@mslady1230 I’m so happy you got it all sorted out. I don’t remember if I had mentioned that when you’re finished using it just leave the lid open so it can dry out. 👍
MOMMOMMOMMOMM Mommy, mom mom mom mom, mom

Pkhybnyffhyt
Where did you get the washer light from thanks
Amazon
They need to put US of A papers in only, too many paper from other countries that you don't need ! Make sure you read the warranty, they says you must keep records on you water and what chemicals you use. They also says this can wear the pattern off the bottom of the pool. I guess it depends on how old your liner is.
Measuring is very important. I’m 73 and when I was in high school we had Home Economics. My teacher stressed the importance of using the proper tools. She would insist that liquids were not meant to be measured with the same measuring tools as the dry ingredients. I watch all these different videos and the people use the same tools for both. I guess it’s a pet peeve of mine. I’d yell at the video and say you’re using the wrong measuring tool. Also when using eggs she said never just crack your egg right into whatever you’re baking. Crack the egg in a separate dish. I guess it was more important years ago that you needed to check to make sure the egg was good. If you cracked it into whatever you were making if one egg was bad you have ruined all of your other ingredients. The measuring and the way to crack your eggs was so ingrained into my brain that I can’t do it any other way.
I think you are totally correct and I wish we all could have a proper cooking class. We do slowly over time get into bad habits and need some reminding. lol 😂
Great video and you seem like the neighbor everyone would be lucky to have. That said, here's my two cent For some background, My old apartment had old school top load speed queens. One day, i came home from work and voila, they swapped them out for Speed Queen front load washers. I was thrilled to have a new toy but it wasn't long before i began to dislike them. Int he first place, the capacity was not the best. Honestly, the size load you have, small though it may be is absolutely the best size... they need better capacity. I don't know about your unit but ours would not use tap hot. I had to turn off the cool water and force it to fill with only hot. ALso, i like bleach for whites, the suds were OUT of control. The worst part is, i never had stains in my clothing before and intermittent spotting and staninig would show up, all issues i never had with the old school top load washer. When i moved, one thing i love about my new place is full sized old school top load washers in my unit. My clothes are so much cleaner and more fresh. I love it. About the only thing i prefer these for are cleaning sheets. It's way more gentle.
51:35 where does the bells ringing come from?
The bells are coming from our grandfather clock.
Love the sound of your clocks. My Aunt collected clocks that bonged, chimed or cuckooed. I think she he around 12 and none were synchronized. I stayed with them one summer and I think it took about a week before I got used to them and they didn’t wake me up at midnight. I got so used to them that I didn’t even pay attention to them. 😂😂😂
I’m thinking about getting an entry level hot tub. Do you still like this hot tub brand? Just curious. Thx
We are still using it and enjoy it about twice a week.
want you to spend money on their products
I’m not understanding what your question is ?
the manufacturers and retailers want your money so you have you have to buy more parts filters and bags cause they car emore about the money than the customer
I use Downy Rinse and Refresh Active Sport and it is very good on everyday clothing to get out odors from underwear and other items.
I don't think a lot of people realize you can buy these exention hose kits... in some cases you may need an adapter to fit your vacuum... but they are absolutely amazing in terms of changing the way you can use your vacuum to clean. I can pop my extension hose on and clean hard floors with a floor brush....get up on ladders and clean ceiling fans... dust all over the house only having to periodically move the vacuum itself here and there... After having one that I got with my similar vacuum you have here....there is no way I will ever be without one of those....but I do prefer a vacuum where you can turn off the brush roll
Definitely a beast of a vacuum and I do wish you could turn off the brush roll as well. A multifunctional vacuum indeed my friend.
what kind of batteries are in this fan
Sorry but I have no idea my friend. We still are using it and no problems so we are definitely pleased with it.
I have given up on Persil. It always makes too much suds no matter how little I use. I see it's the same with you too.
I use it every now and then for kitchen/bathroom carpets. When I do I do a double rinse and when it’s gone that’s it.
I own the upright Cirrus CR 79... Not the canister... I think Cirrus is made by Essco... Definitely not the bottom of the barrel brand but not the TOL either....I think they fall in between... My upright is approaching 6 years old. I had to replace the handle (not the entire handle assembly..just the handle itself (cheap replacement part) on mine...but that's it...still works great... but I don't absue anything.. I would definitely buy one of these if I needed a canister... They use HEPA bags...which are cheap... the hepa filters are not expensive either. I think they are sealed but not sure
They kind of remind me of a Hoover product for some reason but that’s just me. After playing around for sometime now with this vacuum I can say it’s a good vacuum but I find that I prefer a good upright in most cases.
How does the iron not melt the rubber rollers that it rests on though?
No. Not at all. No worries on that and this iron is definitely our favorite.
I'd cosult the seller and ebay try a hair dryer I have dried the foam filters with one
I re washed the filters and dryer them outside in the sun. I did send a msg to the seller and her reply was ( I was just trying to send a sanitized vacuum cleaner to you ) So I replied that when you leave the wet filters in a vacuum cleaner it will get moldy and harm the motor.
boy you got loaded down with the bags
Oh no double trouble this time! Great to see you both. I though you were going to say that was for your RV as I know a lot of people get those for that purpose.
I was thinking about the Rv because this is the smaller one but let’s see how it does. So far it’s been great and fast at making ice 🧊
Yes, that machine looks like a nice unit. Not sure to seeing one with such a long hose but can see how a longer one can be better to reach certain spots.
Neat looking machine glad it was simple to take care of.
Found the wheel and all is good. 👍
Also @Hooverlux in the UK all Dysons or bagless machines should come with a Henry. You really need another bagged machine to clean up a bagless plus an air compressor or blower or blower port on a vacuum.
That is a fun looking Shark and they didn't make many canisters for sure. I also understand your story and wanting machines that you liked using over the years or have some special meaning. I have two of the three last machines that my Grandma on my mom's side had and my other Grandma's last machine that she got in 1986 and she passed in 2014. I also really love my Kirby G4 as it was the first of the G Series I got to use when a former neighbor bought one new and let me use it some. I also just got my wife's Grandma's 2006 Kenmore Progressive Canister and her 1964 Model G. She had some other machine from 2004 to 2006 that she hated and it's long gone. Talk about old school quality the Model G was a daily machine for 40 years and is still going in my collection.
Wow that doesn’t look like big pool but at the end for sure it large. My small screen on my iPhone. LoL
This pool is 30,000 gallons of summer fun 🤩. I just cleaned it and it’s now ready for the season of splashing and hamburgers on the grill. Mmm 😋
After watching your stream i like the story behind. Its lovely. Now lets talk about vacuums. Shark has gimmicks. It looks nice but at the end needs a lot of maintenance, but you cant clean the thing. Look what happend they wash the filters and put it in a hurry to sell that machine. So did you see that it has huge filters? and a bunch of them. now i have a Shark wandvac. it has a couple of small even microscopic filters (im exagerating) but if you wash them and you will spend a week waiting to dry those things. So i love vacuums.Really love those things and i like your channel because of that. So going back to Shark. Innovations sells, but Gimmicky things sells more. Now i want to say something else. I love that Kenmore Heavy Duty, well i told that before. Today i have four Miele Vacuum cleaners (iḿ not a collector i just like to clean) but i will love to have a Eureka Sweet Sixteen or Princess or that boxy Kenmore. This Shark its ok but i can put a bunch of lights to other machine and will be the same. Gimmicky. And for the Haters, learn Maya i dont speak English.
Shark definitely is in a category of its own and has a following as well. I like using them but my love is with the vintage or the higher end bagged vacuums. Sebo and Miele are on my list. However the Kenmore canister vacuum that I just did t.he video on and the one I’m getting ready to video has my heart for sure. Those 70’s and 80’s vacuums are built well and are so much fun.
I have two Sharks and at the suggestion of another CZcamsr I have a second set of filters for them. I am a collector with lots of vacs so I don't need my filters back right away. I just like how easy it is to switch filters, wash the dirty ones and let them dry and be on stand by.
@@ryanhawkins1235 Ryan I like your Kenmore too. Another CZcamsr that was in to the Sears products (now a defunct channel ) and because of his channel I was watching those machines that didn’t knew. Thanks
I never expected Shark to make a canister.
I have the new version of the shark canister vacuum. Please take a look and enjoy. czcams.com/video/KXgbGqIBGbU/video.htmlsi=uodrcEG9Fx-5uwYE
Hi Bunky, Is this the one that was up for bids on e-bay about 1 or 2 weeks ago??? Because if it was, I was going to bid on it but then changed my mind... I had 2 of these in the last 10 years and I really liked it but I decided that I wanted to get a canister with a bag in it instead for easier maintenance so that it wouldn't start my allergies up every time I went to clean it out!!! Thanks for the video and have a great Memorial day weekend...... Bob
I did purchase this from eBay so it’s probably the one you had been looking at. These are a lot of fun but yes the filtration isn’t so great so bagged is the best. Happy Memorial Day weekend my friend.
@@Bunkysworkshop I just won a bid for an Oreck bagged Dutchtech DTX 1400 canister vacuum with power nozzle... they just e-mailed me and told me I should receive it by the 31st so it will be my time to play... LOL Take care and have a good night.... Bob
@@maryrobert80 I do hope I get to see it on action
@@Bunkysworkshop I wish I could But, I don't have a cell phone to take video's with... once all of my helping and lending money stopped so did the friendships!!! So, no friends no need for a cell phone...☹☹☹
@@maryrobert80 Well the only thing I want from you is your friendship 🙏👍
I think this one came out around 2017. What a great machine - I’m envious! People are so goofy. Putting a still wet filter into the machine? Somebody needs to put on a dunce cap.
Yes she put a wet filter back in the machine and shipped it. So at this point it seems all is good but time will tell.
I think it was more like 2014 that this came out because I had this at my house at least a year or so before I sold the house in 2015...
Sharks have the date stamped into one of the prongs on the plug of the date made.
@@ryanhawkins1235 Shark definitely have their place in the vacuum world. I just don’t like cleaning the filters after they clog. They are fun and easy to use but after that the filter situation hits home and then my smile goes away.
@@Bunkysworkshop Yes, I ge that too. Just this weekend I took my Burgandy Shark like in your old intro to my wife's aunt's new house. I wanted to see what came out of a new build carpet. Not too much carpet fuzz as they did vacuum but lots of grit and fine dust. I think grabbed her bagged canister to empty the bin and vacuume the filters. Better than the Dyson Cyclones that trap and hold dirty unless you blow with an air compressor or take the cyclone apart. Shark keeps the dirt where you can get to it.
That is the cutest little thing!😊
I really enjoyed this vacuum and now having it in my collection. I also have purchased the new version of this and it’s a great machine but the filtration isn’t its best.
I forgot about those sharks
I hope they are good memories for you. 😀
I love love this machine, i really like it so 80s so boxy
You and me both my friend. 👍. They rock for sure.
Where’s the water? The speed Queen top loader fills to the brim.
It’s in there 👍. lol 😂. I have found that for very bulky items you must use the heavy duty cycle with heavy soil setting. More water is added when doing this. Thanks for stopping in my friend.
soooo you didn't watch the video or fast forward ahead, huh/?
I mean it’s still useable without the one wheel
Yes however it would pick up on the one side. Definitely happy I put new wheels on it. 👍
