I'll tell you something Bunky, I use my speed queen at least 7 times a week and the more I use it the more I love it!!! I'm finding out that they don't call them Speed Queen for nothing, My loads are getting done much quicker now then they did when I had the speed queen TR7 washer because I don't have to wait for the machine to fill all the way up with water for the wash and rinse cycles which took about 5 to 7 minutes for each fill... The front loader gets right to work wetting the clothes down and proceeding right into the wash cycle and getting the job done with no stops and starts and I find that this is saving me about 15 to 18 minutes per load depending on the cycle that i choose and I'm getting done much faster on laundry day!!! I know exactly what you’re talking about. I watched many of those videos about washing machines and it was driving me crazy. Sensing seems to be a big thing with many of these machines. Sensing the load. Sensing the water. SENSING SENSING SENSING Please just wash the clothes already. lol 😂 SQ gets right to work.
Unlike LG and Samsung front loaders that uses load sensing to detect the weight of the load before washing, Speed Queen front loaders don't have to do all of that "load sensing" It gets right to work and does its thing. As I said before I love Speed Queen and Speed Queen is my friend 😊
I just got mine on Thursday and we’ve pretty much been going non stop with laundry since we just moved and didn’t feel like going to the laundromat. I like how when you push start it just goes instead of having to sense the load. Love this washer.
@@ndhonda1282 l like washers like Speed Queen because they're straightforward and waste no time and makes laundry a fun activity to do instead of a chore. I know if I had either the top loader or the front loader I wouldn't be bored doing laundry because I loved doing laundry since I was a little boy. I watched their videos of the FF7 and I think it's an adorable washer. I loved Speed Queen since I used the front loaders at the laundromats.
@@Bunkysworkshop anyone ever have trouble with the door lock? I think mines faulty. Sometimes it tries locking 3 times and and then it will go. Other times it goes right away. Tonight I got a dl er. Opened the door and gave it a good close and took right off. Although it was one of the kids who started the load so who knows if they didn’t get it shut all the way. It felt like it though. Hopefully it doesn’t go out.
i've been watching your videos in decision making for buying a washer this week. i used to love my old kenmore top loader 24 yrs ago. almost decided on tc5 until i saw the front loaders, as someone was claiming they wash better? not the comment i expected! which machine washes better, or would you use for things like vomit lol?
Now that I’ve had the speed queen top loader and now the speed queen front loader. The top loader is definitely that old school dependable washer and does a great job. The front loader is now my favorite for a couple of reasons. Does a larger load at one time. Needs less detergent per load and less water per load. Higher spin speed which means less drying time because of less water in the clothes. You can add a pre wash and multiple rinses with a sanitize cycle for that really bad load of laundry. Plus you can use the already made program or make one of your own. The top loader is a great machine and I still use it from time to time but now that I have the front loader I’m hooked. I do feel it’s doing a better job than the top loader. I hope this helps in some way.
i appreciate your review! thank you so much! i can understand wanting to use the old one from time to time. i thought i was sold on tc5 but i do like to hang dry my laundry, and the ability to spin more and use less water for an awesome wash seems cost effective too in the end!
Now that has been on my mine here lately. I do want one but the SQ set that we purchased new is only eight years young when we bought this house. I feel bad just pushing the dryer aside for the exact same thing but different panel. I do LOVE a matching set so who knows what’s next.
