That Panasonic is from the days when the made Kenmore vacuums too so that will explain how the bag fits from a Kenmore and how similar they are to each other. This machine is also most likely belt driven and might perform better with a new belt. That machine has the same pedal as the Bagless Kenmore we have been talking about and the current belts that you can get do stretch very easily. A new belt does help a lot on my Kenmore Bagless of this era.
Bunky I always liked Panasonic products because they were always well made and lasted a long time!!! I still hope to find the Panasonic Jet Flo 240 canister vacuum, I had one of those years ago and it was a very good and quiet vacuum cleaner to use, so on with the search I go...
