Wow, you just struck gold, the rare black color with red outlining, not to mention with the superior Powermate, I love it! It's in very nice shape too, and sound great.
Hi Grayson, I was totally shocked when I found out I had won the bidding on this vacuum. The best things was when I unboxed it and it was just in such good condition my level of happiness was doubled. It runs well and performs well and definitely a great vintage vacuum. Happy Easter 🐣

I think that you are experimenting with different camera angles and views. It gives us a better line of vision for the product1 You’re really growing and expanding your video skills! Great work!
I’m happy you’re happy with it. This came from an estate sale in Kansas City. I think bought it about two years ago. The generic hose was the one that came with it from the sale. I guess at one point the owner had it replaced. It looked like an older ladies home. I’m guessing the original hose would have been gray. It’s a great vac I just can’t keep them all.
Hi Kenny, I am very happy with this Kenmore vacuum. I can say I was shocked when I had won because I really thought it was going to go for definitely more than my max bid. So I was definitely happy when I won but then I was so nervous in what I may get when delivered. If you look at my one video you will see I won the other model that was in blue with the wood grain on top. My heart sank as I was unboxing it and found it was broken and had bad electrical problems. Thanks again and Happy Easter 🐣 PS. Where about are you located? It would be cool to find someone like me thats loves these vacuums as well. I am on the eastern shore. Ocean city Maryland.
From the Sears catalogs it looks like it was grey. But it could have also been white on some models, which is possible. Not everything is lockstep with the reference materials from the time I'm finding.

Hi Bob, I was amazed that this model has a metal base as the others had plastic ones. I didn’t know that Kenmore had put a a heavy duty model so when this one came up I had to have it. Happy Easter 🐰🐣 my friend and have a great day.
@@Bunkysworkshop Yes all the one's that I had too had the metal base on the bottom also, And they even had a heavy duty upright in black as well to match the canister that you just got today... I bought the heavy duty upright for my Mom back in 1990 and it did a fantastic job except that it was very loud!!!

Hello there my friend. Gidget is terrier/jack Russell mix and we got her as a puppy. She is an rescue and what a lovely and cuddly girl she is.
