@Bunkysworkshop oh goodness, that's a good question! For me personally, I would do the bagged Hoover upright vacuum. I like bagged vacuums and I like how it has a good size dust bag!

I've had my Hoover onepwr for almost 2 years and it NEVER drains the battery like yours.
Have you put a full battery on it and let it stand for a couple of days?
Yes, sometimes much longer, and never noticed any degradation
