    That is a fun looking Shark and they didn't make many canisters for sure. I also understand your story and wanting machines that you liked using over the years or have some special meaning. I have two of the three last machines that my Grandma on my mom's side had and my other Grandma's last machine that she got in 1986 and she passed in 2014. I also really love my Kirby G4 as it was the first of the G Series I got to use when a former neighbor bought one new and let me use it some. I also just got my wife's Grandma's 2006 Kenmore Progressive Canister and her 1964 Model G. She had some other machine from 2004 to 2006 that she hated and it's long gone. Talk about old school quality the Model G was a daily machine for 40 years and is still going in my collection.

      I really enjoyed this vacuum and now having it in my collection. I also have purchased the new version of this and it’s a great machine but the filtration isn’t its best.

    I think this one came out around 2017. What a great machine - I’m envious! People are so goofy. Putting a still wet filter into the machine? Somebody needs to put on a dunce cap.

      @Bunkysworkshop  Před 3 měsíci

      Yes she put a wet filter back in the machine and shipped it. So at this point it seems all is good but time will tell.

      I think it was more like 2014 that this came out because I had this at my house at least a year or so before I sold the house in 2015...

      @@ryanhawkins1235 Shark definitely have their place in the vacuum world. I just don’t like cleaning the filters after they clog. They are fun and easy to use but after that the filter situation hits home and then my smile goes away.

      @@Bunkysworkshop Yes, I ge that too. Just this weekend I took my Burgandy Shark like in your old intro to my wife's aunt's new house. I wanted to see what came out of a new build carpet. Not too much carpet fuzz as they did vacuum but lots of grit and fine dust. I think grabbed her bagged canister to empty the bin and vacuume the filters. Better than the Dyson Cyclones that trap and hold dirty unless you blow with an air compressor or take the cyclone apart. Shark keeps the dirt where you can get to it.

    Also @Hooverlux in the UK all Dysons or bagless machines should come with a Henry. You really need another bagged machine to clean up a bagless plus an air compressor or blower or blower port on a vacuum.

    After watching your stream i like the story behind. Its lovely. Now lets talk about vacuums. Shark has gimmicks. It looks nice but at the end needs a lot of maintenance, but you cant clean the thing. Look what happend they wash the filters and put it in a hurry to sell that machine. So did you see that it has huge filters? and a bunch of them. now i have a Shark wandvac. it has a couple of small even microscopic filters (im exagerating) but if you wash them and you will spend a week waiting to dry those things. So i love vacuums.Really love those things and i like your channel because of that. So going back to Shark. Innovations sells, but Gimmicky things sells more. Now i want to say something else. I love that Kenmore Heavy Duty, well i told that before. Today i have four Miele Vacuum cleaners (iḿ not a collector i just like to clean) but i will love to have a Eureka Sweet Sixteen or Princess or that boxy Kenmore. This Shark its ok but i can put a bunch of lights to other machine and will be the same. Gimmicky. And for the Haters, learn Maya i dont speak English.

      Shark definitely is in a category of its own and has a following as well. I like using them but my love is with the vintage or the higher end bagged vacuums. Sebo and Miele are on my list. However the Kenmore canister vacuum that I just did t.he video on and the one I’m getting ready to video has my heart for sure. Those 70’s and 80’s vacuums are built well and are so much fun.

      I have two Sharks and at the suggestion of another CZcamsr I have a second set of filters for them. I am a collector with lots of vacs so I don't need my filters back right away. I just like how easy it is to switch filters, wash the dirty ones and let them dry and be on stand by.

    Hi Bunky, Is this the one that was up for bids on e-bay about 1 or 2 weeks ago??? Because if it was, I was going to bid on it but then changed my mind... I had 2 of these in the last 10 years and I really liked it but I decided that I wanted to get a canister with a bag in it instead for easier maintenance so that it wouldn't start my allergies up every time I went to clean it out!!! Thanks for the video and have a great Memorial day weekend...... Bob

      I did purchase this from eBay so it’s probably the one you had been looking at. These are a lot of fun but yes the filtration isn’t so great so bagged is the best. Happy Memorial Day weekend my friend.

    I have dried the foam filters with one

      I re washed the filters and dryer them outside in the sun. I did send a msg to the seller and her reply was ( I was just trying to send a sanitized vacuum cleaner to you ) So I replied that when you leave the wet filters in a vacuum cleaner it will get moldy and harm the motor.
