Hi Bunky I think it's a really nice vacuum and it seems to do a good job But it's not for me!!! I would love to have a cordless vacuum that I can go all around the house with without dragging a cord behind me, But these rechargeable batteries scare the hell out of me... There have been so many fires here in Pennsylvania in the past couple of years and most of them were caused by these rechargeable batteries exploding and setting the house on fire and that's something that I don't want to have to go though myself... Coming from a family of firemen, I've seen my fair share of fires and watched everything that people owned go up in flames and this is something that i don't want to experience, So for me I'll stay with the corded and play it safe... It's always a pleasure to sit back and watch your video's and see what new gadget you bought so until the next one comes in Thanks for this video and have a great weekend... Bob

@@Bunkysworkshop I will say I think Hoover stole that cloth bag design from Orick because they did design that before came out with their cordless lineup that being said, or Hoover Ryobi dirt devil there’s plenty more under the TTI umbrella I guess you could say it’s very hard to find parts for Oreck uprights used to have an Orick upright until I found out you can never really get replacement parts for them anymore so I sold it and I mostly been using my Kirby G6 with a HEPA bag or my riccar
@@friday1218 I do believe that there is some Oreck in there some how. lol 😂. This is a very simple machine and very lightweight with two speeds. I can see people really liking this for many reasons.

Pretty machine. Up to this day some dirt fan machines are making its way back to consumers. Those after watching at other channels, usually this floor cleaners run at lower power compared with non dirt fan cleaners. Example it’s the Sebo-Karcher Ranger. They are only floor cleaners and deliver as it looks a good cleaning service. At the end nice colors no as it looks good performance, about the important it uses a bag as you like.
I am seeing how this vacuum can deliver a quality clean. With some pro and cons for sure. The one con that got me is the battery indicator. The Hoover you have to stop and press the button to check it. The Shark has a display right there on the handle so all you need is to just look down.
Yes, the battery run time is something to think about. It is nice the Hoover has two battries. I use both my Hoover like this and the previous model of the Shark for quick cleans ups. When I am in deep clean mode I tend to go for plug in machines. I did order a second battery and for my Shark and a few other attachments.
I do the same as for the deep clean mode. I normally get the central vac or the Sebo I believe it is the black onyx edition canister out. The Shark cordless duo clean is nice that it comes apart for almost any job however you have to remember about that battery life.
I bought mine in 2019. Excellent vacuum - terrible batteries. Both have failed (2 of the 4 lights on the pack glow steadily to show the error code). I am debating on buying two new 3rd party batteries or just selling the vacuum. I’m very disappointed over those batteries. My old Hoover Air batteries for my old Hoovers still work like champs…so I’m confused how these new batteries are so awful.
If you registered your vacuum I definitely would contact them and let them know. They may offer you some kind of deal. Free shipping or lower prices or something but give them a try.
I registered my warranty on my unit that I bought in January of 2021 and in the first two years both battries failed and were replaced under the warranty. When the first one failed they kind of hinted but didn't directly say that there was some kind of supplier issue. Battries over the entire unit is not too bad.
Hi Breen, I’m finding that each battery last about 20-25 minutes each. Now remember that if you use it on low you will get more run time but less power of course. Over all this is a very nice machine with its own pros and cons.

@@Bunkysworkshop yeah the light weight aspect is a plus but if I was to get one I would go with Riccar super light, cordless or regular Super light

These were great vacuums. I loved that they used the Oreck Elevate platform for them.
