Hi Bunky, I use all free and clear or Tide free and gentle because I have allergies to all the scents that they put into the detergents today, But I have to be honest Tide free and gentle wins hands down over All free and clear when it comes to handling tough stains... Tide packs a punch where All can't when it comes to removing certain stains... I also have to tell you that the more I use my Speed Queen front loader the more I am loving it!!! It may carry a hefty price tag, but it is worth every penny spent and I also have the matching electric dryer too that does a fantastic job as well... Not sorry that I got this set at all!!!
