In Chapter 7, we explore the concept that despite Hashem's transcendence, He is present within space and time through His attribute of Malchus. Additionally, we examine the Alter Rebbe's interpretation of the Lurianic concept of Tzimtzum, clarifying that it does not imply Hashem literally withdrew Himself to allow for finite creation, but rather concealed His light. • For more classes from Rabb...

BH', BH', BH', Torah of Truth, thank you Rabbi! On my journey of recovery and truth, was just learning some of the oral Torah and the story of the Exodus alongside of your class. B'SD, it is like an amazing tapestry unfolding before my very eyes, the 40 years is the 4 phases of development, Egypt as slaves, a fetus in the womb, the splitting of the sea our birth, the journey in the wilderness our adolescence, childhood, our rebellious behavior in Hebrew has the same root as the name Miriam, ie emotional intelligence, The striking of the Rock, the heart, in earlier years required more discipline as we mature we need more emotional intelligence , that comes from the well of Miriam, the deeper dimensions of Hassidus. 4h phase adulthood is the land of Israel, and Israel is unification, healing together collectively! Forgive my excitement, BS'D, I am like a child that has been given the greatest gift in her life, keys to a new outlook on life! Recovery before felt like a life sentence, extremely painful and felt so ostracized from my family, society and the Creator. And Judaism has taught me learning is the journey, it is why we are here, to develop, to integrate, and live fully. Thank you Rabbi! Connections of Recovery

This is why we have to see reality as a play we've been cast in. We can watch our own performance with detachment. There is no need for drama, there is no jeopardy: we don't need to act out, we just accept God as the playwright. Hamlet's friend Horatio is clearly a recovering alcoholic or Hasidic scholar... For thou hast been As one in suffering all that suffers nothing, A man that Fortune’s buffets and rewards Hast ta’en with equal thanks; and blessed are those Whose blood and judgment are so well commingled That they are not a pipe for Fortune’s finger To sound what stop she please. Give me that man That is not passion’s slave, and I will wear him In my heart’s core, ay, in my heart of heart, As I do thee.

I don’t consider myself a “people person”. I generally prefer being alone or with 1-2 people. But I often find myself in conversation with strangers. Just today I was at a café and talked to a guy about music theory for almost an hour (The most musical thing I am capable of is blowing the Shofar). I was completely lost for most of the conversation. But he was thrilled to be able to share his knowledge of music and it’s form and it’s meter and it’s construction with someone else. I have no clue what his life is like. I may never see him again. All I got out of the conversation was a general understanding of what a “musical fifth” means. But he got someone who took the time to sit down, pay attention, and see him. Sometimes just seeing someone can be invaluable.
