  • As one father to another, I am asking you to do this. It may not change everything. And it certainly won't change things overnight. But please try it and see the effect that it has on your child.

B'H, Mission accomplished, and I want to say that I have been doing exactly this for years, and what it accomplished is that it builds confidence and a positive relationship between me and my son...every dad should learn to just be cool and allow the kids to feel that security and confidence..let the judgment for the judges and controversy for the controverts.
    Looking forward to step 2

Wish he would or rather would have. Yet I wouldn't be the compassionate person I am today.
Love you Rabbi(Teacher) learn so much from you,

This action is also another way (like another kind of hug) to communicate and affirm, "YOU are important to me."
G-d willing, our sons will pick up on this example and incorporate and initiate it in their relationships.

Great advice ! .. same thing can be achieved with a round of golf if just sitting 'doing nothing' is too anxiety inducing

My husband asked to ask here. Would you please make a video about the importance of fathers and the father role? Having grown up with an absent father there really wasn’t any guidance on this part or modeling that was healthy. Thank you
