Chapter 4 answers the question that was asked at the end of the previous chapter. How it is that creation is not nullified out of existence before Hashem? The answer is that Hashem's restraining power allows His creative power to conceal itself in a way that created beings can retain a sense of independent selfhood.

is it fair to say that, as an initial matter, before the created being fails to be able to imagine creation of something out of nothing, and subsequently (or really simultaneously) fails to understand the limit of creation that allows the appearence of independent existence, the created being can't imagine 'nothingness' in the first place?

i guess in much the same way the created being cant understand the absolute infinity out of which finiteness is created

I tried to listen to this shiur 5 times and most concepts are still 🤯😵‍💫.
