I really want to like this show but they should have stopped with the first miniseries and dropped the ridiculous alien baby plot. The second miniseries was cringeworthy.

I really want to like both of these miniseries but the first one was a bit cringe, though it had some great moments too, and the second one was beyond cringeworthy.

I agree with Father Andrew about coexisting with Visitors (only the good ones) and taking Elizabeth away from Robin and Robin’s father they might kill Elizabeth. But I disagree with turning to Diana. If I were him, I would choose Willie and Harmony as adopted parents for Elizabeth.

V the mini series was the best 👌 I do like The Final Battle but you can tell Kenneth Johnson was no longer in full control.

Classic series that is still watchable, even 40 years later.

It's kinda crazy to think they have the technology and energy to cruise across the galaxy but they can't use that incredible amount of energy to synthesize water or food. But that wouldn't make good science fiction ... and this is kind of an allegory.

As i said, she didnt deserve to die. She got csught in the lie but eventually came around, which tells me she was never malicious. The people that DID deserve to die were Eleanor and Daniel. Both got what they deserved. I think every character eventually reached closure, good or bad. Harmony did not deserve to die, but died a hero. Mark died a hero , Brian got his. Eleanor got hers. Pascal got his...Father Andrew did not deserve to die as his intentions, although naive, were noble....Steven got his. Daniel........im so glad he got his. OTOH....you have John.....he was killed by Diana, but listen to their conversation: John did not want to destroy the earth and i believe he finally came around and realized the whole thing was wrong. Too late, but at least he realized Diana was truly evil. And thats what made this show so good: good people sometimes die even though they dont deserve it, but at least the biggest scumbags got theirs ( Daniel )

This is actually a very interesting part of the story. The resistance resort to very dastardly tactics; testing biological weapons on POWs. Carrying out Josef mengele (Nazi) type experiments on POWs. Torture and execution of POWs. I know desperate times call for desperate measures but I think the resistance lost a lot of moral authority here. It asks the question of all of us, how far would you be prepared to go to achieve the ends and do the ends justify the means. Still a shame Peter Nelson didn’t want to continue on for V the series
