One of the great successes of the original V and The Final Battle was how these separate strands of the story eventually came together in very important ways. Robin and Brian seemed a bit disconnected from the rest of the plot as it advanced in the original, until Robin was kidnapped by the Visitors and taken aboard the mothership and we all know where that led. And here the Robin/Brian relationship became even more impactful to the larger plot as Robin takes it upon herself to test the red dust for revenge. The writers really knocked it out of the park, and this scene was produced extremely well.
Kudos also to Blair Tefkin because I thought here she displayed an effective mixture of feigning innocence with Brian along with giving us a hint in her acting that she’s up to something. After all the maddening trauma Robin had been through, regressing into some naive teenage fantasy idea of escape with Brian might actually seem plausible, so the audience isn’t completely sure what her intentions are until she reveals the red dust, and Tefkins acting helps create that tension.

I always thought that was a result of bad decisions by the writing team, playing up the triangle between the three of them. Totally awkward. It was an obvious soap opera move. It seems like that’s why they wanted Elizabeth to go through the major transformation process and age up quickly, so they could get her into more adult-oriented situations.

This is actually a very interesting part of the story. The resistance resort to very dastardly tactics; testing biological weapons on POWs. Carrying out Josef mengele (Nazi) type experiments on POWs. Torture and execution of POWs.
I know desperate times call for desperate measures but I think the resistance lost a lot of moral authority here.
It asks the question of all of us, how far would you be prepared to go to achieve the ends and do the ends justify the means.

When I saw This Scene it was very Disturbing, Despite What Brian Did Was Wrong, Brian could had become a Hero, if He Had Told Diana No Way, Lesson Learn, NEVER play with No One Feelings, because the trust Will No longer Be the Same, he said he love her, but it was I false I love you, sad thing Brain was never sorry for what he did too. If I were Producer of V, This is what I Would had done.
    1. If Robin would had she did, to toss the Red Dust, I would had made Elizabeth Leave and not to see her Father die, tossed it while the two are alone.
    2. After Robin presents to Brain their daughter, I would had left and have someone else tossed the red dust instead, for example Robert Maxwell in that scene, Robin Father was Upset with good cause.
    3. Besides Capturing Brain, capture like another visitor, toss it to other visitor, So Brain Can see what it does, also give the opportunity to redeem himself, I would have prefer Brain get killed sacrificing his life, Example: D'Artagnan did with with Philippe, When King Louis attempted to Kill his own Brother or like Harmony did with Willie in the Final Battle.
I would Prefer the 3rd Option in my Opinion, I know it is a Series, but made things better.
