I've only just found your Channel through a recommendation of another youtuber. I've watched a bunch of your videos and I can say that this is the style I was looking for to change up my game, I was so monotone with my airbrush work that I couldn't understand how people made their stuff look so impressive and diverse. Thank you for that. I have learnt so much in a matter of days through your videos, I'm too poor to support directly but I'm liking all you videos as I go! 🤗 I do however have a small challenge for you, if you think you're up for it? 🤭 White and black with primary colours (Only one of each, so it's going to be all about the mixing). Paint a model using those, I'd absolutely love to see your work with something like that as I feel like it'll help me understand your take on colour theory, like your true black armour which was a massive eye opener, I've had it explained before but yours was an excellent take 👌 Thanks once again.

The drying process is somewhere between several hours and a few days? That seems like a very working process. Then its probably better to have more miniatures to work on simultaneous. If they last a couple of hundreds years as you mentioned regards to the oil paints, then its also probably worth painting in oil colors, in the long run. Then you have something to give to your grand grand kids. Its not Da Vinci or Leonardo, but hey, its something. XD

a friend of mine told me to use white spirit to strip off paint, it did, and the entire model.... what does white spirit do when added to paint?

ok im starting to get it, im going to give it a go on crisis suits models for tau in 40k where the thrusters and engine of the suit coats the vermillion suit in cyan.

I have always thought that the basis for the success of a miniature and larger project was to optimize the primer paint as much as possible. Really interesting, thanks for all the advice.

That milliput brush on trick is really interesting, how long are the layers taking to dry before applying subsequent layers? Would love to try this to smooth out some of my oldhammer models

Amazing stuff. I was wondering with the application of oils over acrylic, what do you prefer, Matt or satin finish? if your acrylics have different finishes is it worth putting down a varnish to make it more consistent?

Ive been having issues with unwanted removal of base coats when cleaning off my oil washes :( Any suggestions? Im using the Mona Lisa Brand of white odorless spirit and usually make up sponges and q tips for the removal.

I use the Liquitex CMYKW colors that is in tubes. A good test is mixing the megemt to yellow gives a perfect red.

what would be your go to ration of thinning medium and paint? i know i can differ between paints, but im currently struggling with the right consistency ^^

I wish I could do this for the weapons, im making my warriors of chaos models themed around deathknights from wow, so everything is dark cold blues, snow everywhere and weapons forged from magical ice crystals. but nothing seems to work, doesn't help im a total newbie at painting

Milliput cures under water, so you could probably just smooth it with water if you wanted. That's how a lot of people that repair coffee mugs do it.

Two questions, Marco, Do Turpentine based thinners affect acrylic layers under the oils? Is AK Interactive's Odorless Thinner safe for acrylics? I bought Aguarras in Spain and I've noticed that different bottles have affected my paint differently (even though they're all called the same thing), even ruined my acrylic work. I'd really appreciate answers from a pro here. Thank you.
