@@TheMetalTris Of course, good questions and Raymond is a very nice dude. Indeed a highlight album. When the first song started, I thought they would go in a more melodic direction but I was wrong and thats good, the few atmospheric, electronic and melodic parts fit perfectly :) They are still masters in brutal and groovy riffs and they dont disappoint on here again. Vocals are a bit different but maybe better (Have to analyse longer). Among my favorite recent Death metal bands for sure.

Couldn't agree more, like a modern day Pantera if you ask me. Really excited to see where the future goes with these guys! Lots of good stuff on the horizon I am sure!

I have multiple projects with my guitar performances but Grarphyre is most relevant here. It is electronic metal meticulously crafted (no presets/everything from scratch/amplification designed by me/virtual instruments) dual bass guitars often pitch shifted an octave lower to go beyond heavy. You've definitely never heard anything like it before 🤘🏼. I appreciate you just listening very much! Oh that's awesome! I saw the live I thin it was back in 2019 when they were last here in the UK. Absolutely fantastic show and they had just released Love In Shadow I think it was. They did a couple of tracks off What One Becomes as well if memory serves - totally mental. Thanks for checking out the video!

You know what, that really means a lot because I am always toying with the idea of should I keep them short, change them to being longer? At the end of the day it’s just a quick thing isn’t it. That's awesome! I have to say that I really have loved Death Metal for quite some time now but this is definitely a shining light. Bands like Undeath / 200 Stab Wounds / Gatecreeper / Celestial Sanctuary / Upon Stone / Blood Incantation / Necrot, they're all elevating Death Metal but in a newer way which I find so sick.

Exactly, I think that's the key isn't it. The words like fun, energetic, consistent - they're all making that sort of sound and definitely reminded me of Cannibal Corpse and that sort of vibe that they give off you know? Just a fucking great band.

Exactly, I think consistent is a great word for it. Not absolutely bowl me over amazing but incredibly solid and one that I think really shows a lot of promise as to where the band are going to be able to go next.

Exactly man, I think that for me, it's probably one of my most listened to records when I don't know what to listen to. Which weirdly makes them one of my most listened to bands haha! Similar to Necrot really, that album has really, really been notching up the listens. I'm going to try and do AOTY so far style video today and have all of these in there. There's so much more to come as well though, it's going to be a good one!

Hell yeah! I think that with this one it just gets better with each listen. Such a great band and just completely full of energy as well. There's just so much going on with them that I absolutely love. Really excited to see what the future holds for them and when they're back in the UK later this year too!

@@TheMetalTris same here seen them in March here in Ireland supporting Cattle Decap & coming back in autumn with Enforced & Gatecreeper, what a line up 🔥🔥🤘🔥🔥

@@iamnotanumber100 Oh no way! They were on fire with them weren't they?! That was the first time that I had seen them as well. Not many people could give Cattle a run for their money - although they are very different bands of course. Enforced and Gatecreeper is a fantastic line up isn't it! I'm excited for that one for sure!

There's definitely an otherworldly feeling I get with this one for sure, I think there's something truly special about this band and I really hope that we get to see them play live at some point - I've never seen them and this material would go down a storm!

Ahh man I hate that kind of thing. Though when the band next come round I always feel like you end up loving them even more than before you know? It's my go-to chill album of the year, perfect for a chill dude on his couch haha!

I've seen a couple of people comparing this to Les Voyages de Lame recently. I'll have to go back and check that one out - I think it's the one with the bird on the cover is that right? Sort of swan looking thing? Thanks for checking out the video!

Exactly, I think that the band did whatever they could to carry on and did so by honouring Trevor in the best way possible. I couldn't imagine any other situation other than Brian being on vocals. It's perfect.
