Def one of my favorite albums of the year
They never disappoint!
They are very much a reliable band! I just wish that there was a little more experimentation but as the adage goes, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it haha!
I've been a fan of Aborted since 2005, and got to see them live. Also curious to see how Vult of Horrors flows from song to song with the guest vocalists.
It’s a good record don’t get me wrong I think the thing is that I was just hoping for a little more from them but they do what they do well you know? I want to liken them to Cannibal Corpse but they’re different they haven’t quite got that killing factor that Corpse did. One of my favourite Aborted records is Retrogore - that I absolutely loved! Still though all power to them for continuing on!
Retrogore is still my favourite, probably because I discovered them then (I know, I'm late to the party). But I love all their stuff and personally, I think the new one is great. Good old aborted with a spin due to the guests. :)
Great album! I have not been so excited about an Aborted album since Global Flatline.
Oh wow! That’s awesome. I remember when Global Flatline was announced and sprung onto the world. It’s a great record and I think that they’re a good band but I just wish that there was a little more to their sound you know?
Do a Review on Outerheaven's latest Album plz
I am a big fan of Aborted, and I am really digging this album. My only issue is that it is too short. I would have loved about five more tracks all within the shorter lengths present on this album, with maybe a longer atmospheric closer (maybe about The Shining or something) This album, to me, sounds like maybe Aborted have nothing left to prove, and just had a great time making an album celebrating what the genre is often about, while inviting a guest list to the party. It is short and savagely sweet, but I am finding myself playing it over and over since release. Also note that John Carpenter has 4 movies featured in this album. John Carpenter is metal as shfuck.
That’s a good shout to be honest, it definitely feels like a good fun record and I am sure will do well for them in the long run for sure. With regards to it being too short I think that sometimes that can have an even more beneficial effect in the long run because you’re able to get more out of it in the end! Thanks for checking out the video though
Albums a blast. Doesn't reinvent the aborted wheel but I honestly wouldn't have it any other way. The guests on every song really give em there own flavor and identity. The shape of hate was my favorite track.
Definitely agree, like you say, it's just a good one for a bit of fun and isn't really bringing anything new to the table. I too really liked the guest vocals and that kind of angle. Interesting to see how they go down live though without the guest performers each night you know? Thanks for checking the video out!
I still have not checked this one out
Let me know what you think when you do dude! ❤️
Most embarrassing band name ever.
Oh really? I think that there are far worse out there! What is it that you don't like about them?
