Ya this album is stellar. One thing I’d add is how captivating the guitar tone/engineering is. Kurt’s work on their last album definitely raised the bar for how hi-fi a metal album could be, and that progression continues on this album. Aaron has such a wide range of tones and textures, and they were captured so well.
Definitely a challenging listen but very rewarding if you sit down and focus on it.

Absolutely dude, super, super heavy this one. But in a great way - definitely going to be one that I need to kind of go in on multiple times I think!
just saw these guys live and they're absolutely mindblowing. just a monolithic, crushing wall of sound and they replicate it perfectly live. if they play in your town they're a must see.
Oh that's awesome! I saw the live I thin it was back in 2019 when they were last here in the UK. Absolutely fantastic show and they had just released Love In Shadow I think it was. They did a couple of tracks off What One Becomes as well if memory serves - totally mental. Thanks for checking out the video!
Nice review mate. I’ll definitely be checking this one out but when I can give it the time it so clearly needs - it sounds like quite a commitment is needed to get the best from it.
Thanks mate! Definitely, it's one that you need to earmark a little quality time for but it's definitely worth it. It's just like one of those where if you persevere with it then you will see the rewards haha
