Good intelligent reviews mate. Glad I subscribed and I'm finding new gear to listen to, as my new music radar largely failed in 1995, or thereabouts.
Hey there Martin! Thanks so much for the kind words and appreciate you saying hello here! 1995, that's quite some time haha - what are some of your favourite records and perhaps that might build out a little profile so I might be able to recommend some more stuff for you :)
Thanks again for the kind words and looking forward to chatting with you more my friend!
That album artwork is very good. Some interesting themes on the album. Pantheon was my favorite. I actually had pleasure talking to the singer about the album. Good Review.
Oh that's awesome man! I'll have to give that a watch when I next have the time. It's a good album and there's some interesting themes in there as well, excited to see how it fares live as well. Artwork is sick too as you say!
Always a pleasure to hear these reviews. I also wanted to suggest checking out Celestial Shrine by Waidelotte. Fantastic progressive black/death metal featuring the vocalist from White Ward. Truly amazing release!
Oh yeah man, I have heard a lot of good things about this so will definitely be checking this out. If I had more time I would have probably made another video on it - love me some Debemur Morti! Thanks for the recommendation and the reminder - I'll let you know when I give it a spin :)
Next up is Necrot, High on Fire, Inter Arma and Dane and that's just April! Mental. I also did interviews with Dvne and Necrot this week as well so keep an eye out for that one!
Nice review. Interesting to hear you thoughts on the different tracks. I have probably warmed to it a little more. Although I do understand the notes on similarity. I interviewed Jason the other day and that was great fun.
That's awesome man! Read your review and thought it was great, always love that you put in the paraphrasing from bio's as well. Gives it a nice context man! Thanks for checking out the review and appreciate all the support week in week out mate!
Love these short n sweet reviews
Thanks so much! You know what it might sound really crazy but the short reviews are actually WAY harder for me to do. I love to waffle on so to try and cut it down to really the bare bones of what I need to get across is a NIGHTMARE! But I'm really enjoying it so far - thanks for the feedback my friend!
Hell yeah dude! Love jammin ingested and been waiting to hear what trusted sources (you) think of it! 🤘
Oh sick man! Thanks for the kind words and I'm glad that you respect my opinion is such a way. Next up for review is Necrot! I love that band and had an interview with Luca from the band should be great to get that out. Excited to hear what you think of the record too when it's out there!
Really enjoyed this Album!
The whole album kicks ass!!!
It's a bit of a banger isn;t it. Definitely the best Ingested record I think to date. Excited to see where they go from there!
Interested to hear this album - their last release didn't land too well with me for some reason. Nothing wrong with it, but I didn't find myself returning to it much. Unlike Frozen Soul - which I recently got around to listening to, that my friend is a cracking album - yeah I know I'm behind the curve on that one, but hey better late than never! Hope all is well buddy! S.
Exactly mate! That's what I always say and the great thing about that is that once it's out there, it'll be there for years to come so many more people will be able to discover it too! Ingested was an OK one - I personally enjoyed this record more than Ashes but will be interested to see how these songs translate to a live setting too. Thanks as ever for checking in!
