Thank you for your video. I just installed my brake pads, and they are working great. Just a little note. As many of us, I watched different videos on doing the work, and even when the videos ALWAYS SHOW how the bottom pad tab is positioned to push in the pin while inserting it, no video has any warning, highlighting the importance to do ti in that manner. I ended up doing the work twice when I figured that some of mine ended up with the pin on top of the pad.

I pulled my fuel pumpr telay while the vehicle was running but the fuel pump kept humming and vehicle never died.

Excellent video! I love it when people make a how to video that is straight to the point. We don’t want to hear about how somebody acquired their vehicle and what had been going on that day and what kind of new tools they’ve gotten and then 20 minutes later, you figure out how to change the filter but pissed off from waiting that long. Thank you.💪

You should also change the filters there's two of them one in the transmission cooler and one in the transmission pan,you shld not check the fluid level with the car up on the ramps that's not level !! Use 4 floor jacks on level surface

Great video.. But I got a question. I filled it with fluid like instructed, until it trickled out of check hole. Put plug back in, ran it through the gears. Went to top off until it trickles out of the check hole again, however it didn’t trickle out. And I put in more fluid than owners manual says it should. So now I’m wondering. Do I need to buy more and add until it comes out of the check hole? Or did I overfill now? I put 3.78 liters. Manual says it should have 3.4 L

Friend, a question, doesn't that car use the filter that goes in the crankcase? Since some cars bring, I don't know if that car uses a box filter (the one that goes inside the crankcase)?

"Use retained or new 14mm bolt and washer." ALWAYS replace the washer! You can re-use the bolt. With a copper washer (not plastic) you can torque to specs. Which brings us to the next point...since the video creator used a TORQUE wrench, it's worth pointing out that proper torque on the drain plug is 25 ft/lbs. IF you don't have a torque wrench & you're in a bind, you can tighten it snug but not too tight...especially w plastic washers (I prefer copper).

What about the old transmission fluid that is still in the system that is not in the pan?

What are the torque specs for the check bolt? And the drain plug torque is really 36 FOOT POUNDS?

Wow to think people spend 100+ dollars on this type of work when it’s fairly Simple. Watch a simple 10 min YT video, take notes on what they used because that’s what you’ll need and your local Napa or auto zone will get you right. Go home and this this in your garage

Great video, , heads up- if you have Civic on ramps , when draining the oil, some of the oil might drip along the plastic towards the rear of vehicle, about 18 inches from the drain opening. So you might want to have either a very large drain pan or 2 containers, to catch oil that runs away from the opening.

Hello thank you for your video. Is there any reason why you didn’t change the transmission filter? It seems that might be two filters one outside the transmission and possibly one inside.

I, of course, dropped the dip stick. Now it's somewhere in the engine bay and i can't get to it. 😢

You did not put the jack stand, DO YOU? it's a different car (raised by hydraulic jack), different hand.

my Toyota has a different wrench ..it does not have a bolt.

Every time you informe use with torque value, but you never use a torque wrench. Lol

Maintenance note: just forward and inboard of the fill cap is a rubber vent cap. It is easy to spot. Pull it off and clean the vent hole. I installed mine facing reward to keep from picking up sand. The hole will clog and the fill cap will pop out while driving. If you look in and see it laying there, this is what happened.

Okay so I have a es sedan 2011, when I get on the gas it accelerates horribly slow, high rpm before it shifts, and it just feels like the car don’t have power! No CEL or lights on at all! Can anyone help me w/ an answer, will cleaning my egr fix it?

I haven't done this in a while, so I checked out your video. Very good! Like the little kid says "now, I remember"! A caution should be added to avoid sending debris down the spark plug chamber, as early as first removing the spark coil apparatus. That is usually where the most unseen engine crud is encountered and is the riskiest time to introduce crud into the plug chamber. Very good video.

I don't know how you got the camera in there for all the shots but it was very helpful. The captions was helpful as I didn't know you could just pull out the fluid reservoir like that. I ended up breaking the clip though so I'll have to buy a new one for $2 bucks. This works on the Honda Civic Hybrid as well but on the driver side there's a control module blocking the low beams and unscrewing two of the bracket screws gave just enough space for my hand.

Update, doghouse needed my foot to push into proper alignment. No more squeaking.

If your shoulders are wide your gonna have a hard time fitting between the seats and door jambs, then your basically at floor level to route the wires.

My doghouse "squeaks" after the tuneup. Just drove it without doghouse installed, no squeaks. Greased the two top bolt fasteners. Those two top bolts don't stop turning, not sure if that's normal.
