  • How I replaced the Oil and Oil Filter on a 2019 RAM Promaster 2500 Van which is the same for a 2014 - 2020 Ducato/Jumper/Relay/Boxer/Ram Promasters 1500, 2500, and 3500. The work performed in the video was on a 2019 RAM Promaster 2500 High Roof 159 Wheel Base, but yours will be very similar.

Best DIY video!! Straight to the point!! No long winded intros followed by I have the answer that you need, but first, you must listen to me verbally pat myself on the back for 10 minutes, capped by 10 minutes of shilling for their sponsor.
DIY videos can be exhausting. Thanks for being straight up.

Probably the easiest DIY oil change video. No background noise 😌

I appreciate it. Doing mine this weekend for the first time. Getting too expensive to go to the shops. Not too hard. Im over 60 😂. Love the socket sizes and the torque specs. Thanks!

Video shows 12mm but text shows 13 mm for drain plug. Confusing for a weekend mechanic. 13mm or 1/2” appears to be correct. Awesome video and helped a lot after I quit trying to get a 12mm socket onto the drain plug.

What’s the best oil to use in a 2500- over 100Kmi. Drive lots of mountain passes- medium to heavy loaded…

Missing what a pain it is to find a stubby socket to take off the oil filter because of no clearance there and beware of over tightening it or you will easily cause a major problem in unit below

How do you feel about using 0w-30 oil in the 3.6 engine?

Did I miss the oil reset reminder message in the description?

Turn key to first position (not turning car on)
Press gas 3 times (within 5 seconds)
      Turn off.
      Timer reset
You probably figured that out by now, so this can be for others.

Mark, Did you ever learn where the oil filter is located on your 2022 Ram ProMaster? I’m looking for it on my 3500, and it does not look the same under my hood. TIA. David M B
