  • How to replace the Air Duct Intake Hose Pipe (Plastic Tube) on a 2010 RAM Mitsubishi Lancer Sportsback which is the same for all 2007 - 2015 Mitsubishi Lancers. The work performed in the video was on a 2010 Lancer Sportsback but yours will be very similar.
The check engine codes for this Lancer was MAF and lean condition because of air leaking in after the MAF on the brittle and broken Air Intake Hose Pipe. The part was like $40 on amazon, easy to put it and corrected the issue. Be sure to catch this leak if your intake hose is brittle like this one because unfiltered and unmeasured air is going to ruin your engine and emissions over time.
