Oh I'm not "back" as they say. :) I received a notice from CZcams that I would lose my partner status if I didn't upload a video soon, so I uploaded one that I thought might be useful (from the member library). I'm still working as a software developer and loving it! Anything related to Izzy Video is a very spare time type of thing. But I'm happy the content is still up!

I haven't used a lav since before COVID but we're heading back in that direction. Thanks for this refresher on what is for me some stale brain cells. The double-football method is exactly the reminder I needed to resolve some fabric issues I've been having. I think a football of medical tape against the skin and a football of gaffer tape to the fabric might be just what I need.
I think in my Final Cut the option to add from logic or garageband is not available anymore. And I could not find a way to make it appear in the menu. Is this some kind of update ? maybe you always need to bounce a project from logic and add it to music first ?

Great video. How do I duplicate drop zones? I'm using a slideshow template from Motion Array that has 12 drop zones in the inspector on the right. I want to add additional images but I don't want the same images to repeat. If I extend the timeline it is still only using the original 12 images. How do I extend the template to use more than 12 images?

Hello Izzy, I was so glad to find your tutorial as I live over an hour away from an Apple Store where I could take FCPX lessons. Are you still doing FCPX Tutorial, Is there an update to a later version of FCPX? As soon as I started Video 1 and created Story of her hair library, I then went to desktop and opened new folder Story of her hair project ... only to get a message saying "This document cannot be saved to the selected location. Select a local storage device, SAN, or supported SMB location"when I tried to save it. I was trying to save to my local desktop on my MacBook Pro 16 Max M2. Any suggestion on how I can move forward to learn FCPX.
