  • I've been testing a new workflow for creating 3D animations with Final Cut Pro Drop Zones.
Take a look at this video for an overview of the process.
As you can see, I've been having a lot of fun with this workflow. And I have to say, I love the results!
Anyway, I hope the information is useful to you!

Thank you, but I wanted to know how to transfer the file from Blender to Apple Motion, how to change colors, and more

Very nice video!! I’m learning Final Cut and motion rn and this helps me a lot. Im trying to figure out how to use both programs side by side with the best workflow and didn’t know that you could open up the files in motion directly from Final Cut ( 2:43 ). Could you maybe make a video and explain how that works? How do you save the files? A video like this would help me so much! Also how would you manage a project like a music video in Final Cut but in some sequences also for transitions you use motion, could you maybe make a quick go trough? Thanks and Great content !!

Hola amigo... excelente tu proceso de diseño... pero tengo una pregunta... en que formato pasas el proyecto de Blender a Motion y como le incluyes el Dropzone ? gracias

Nice tutorial. Would You please explain the process of bringing c4d file into blender? My camera is always screwed when I try... be it fbx or other format... :(

Very cool Izzy. You mentioned Cinema 4D is superior to Blender in some aspects that makes the creation of the animation much easier, so what does Blender make easier that you use it to make the final render instead of doing it all in Cinema?

Great question! There are several reasons I like using Blender to finish the projects, but the main one is that I use a cloud rendering service called RenderStreet to render my projects. I like their service a lot, and it doesn't work with Cinema 4D (that I know of).
That's reason enough for me. Some of these animations would take 20+ hours to render on my iMac, so I prefer to render them in the cloud. And I haven't been able to find such a cost-effective rendering service for Cinema 4D yet. Admittedly, I'm new to Cinema 4D so it might exist, but I've been searching high and low to find one. RenderStreet has unlimited rendering for a flat monthly price (as long as I stay within certain guidelines). :)
And finally I should also mention that I've been using Blender for a couple years, so I'm pretty comfortable with it. It's fast for me to add materials, lights, and camera animations, etc.
The time might come when I don't need to use Blender as part of this process anymore. Or vice-versa, the time might come where I don't need to use Cinema 4D. We'll see. :)

I came here to understand how to ready a c4d file & import it into blender, not this glance overview. Please make a thorough tutorial! Thanks🔥
