They are so logical! Self explanatory! Swedish here,I get almost all, love that we can use the same expressions! Some new ones I learned though 😁
Io ho 67 anni e fin da bambino ho sempre mangiato gli spaghetti con le polpette. Non sono d'accordo che sia un invenzione americana
eating pasta as a past time activity
I don't put cream in my carbonara, and I even use pig cheek, when I can find it, but I do put garlic. What can I say, I love garlic. I was listening to an audiobook version of the Saga of the Volsungs. And one of the characters was introduced with "she was better than all other women in the same way that garlic is better than all other plants." I felt that...
When I was a kid (USA) I was told not to swim within 30 minutes after a meal because I'd get cramps and drown. My grandparents were the main driving force of this prohibition and they believed it zealously. My parents seemed more wishy washy about it but they didn't seem skeptical enough to challenge my grandparents.
8 years late... 4:40 You should start doing ASMR. That part was genuinely tingly
Hahaha, Sign Language in Australia for some of these gestures. I must be of mixed Italian descent because some of those gestures aren't the same gestures I use. Some of your gestures are modern and sayings of old gestures or it might be because all the regions have their own gestures for different things. I am a lot older than you so maybe I have the old ways and maybe that's why my gestures for certain words are different. lol Do Italians still do the Hand Biting gesture?
Spaghetti with meatballs is an american/italian recipe because is a southern italian recipe! My father is from calabria and we (in italy, never been in USA) have always eaten spaghetti with meatballs (small meatballs) at home and in Calabria, during summer holidays!
just wanted to check how to call a cafe creme, normal coffee in italy 7-8 minutes video full of advertisements title must be corrected for it's intended content
That's me ogni giorno on Tandem cercando di parlar Italiano. Nessuno understands me.
I was about to ask if it's okay for me to skip a course because Secondi piatti are usually meat or fish dishes and I'm a vegetarian. I'm fine with cheese though.
White socks were supposed to be worn only by virgins when I was a teenager.
Marco where are you!
It must have been quite a horrible sight when we, the Czechs, started coming to Italy in 1990s with socks in our strappy shoes, especially white socks 😄
Italian people often have 4 negative characteristics: they are racist towards foreigners, they are incompetent at work, they try to cheat or steal from others and their government blocks rescue efforts in the event of shipwrecks in the Mediterranean Sea, causing men, women and children to die.
Although I watched this video many times over the years, I’m now more confident to admit that I’m open to dating French, Italian, and other “Latin-adjacent” guys. It could be that I’m charmed by the perceived passion and romance (coming from someone that wants to feel special and be treated like a queen in a romantic relationship). Don’t mean to be stereotypical, though.
Io non so di dove sei ma queste regole forse sono delle tue parti. Le fettuccine Alfredo sono italianissime e precisamente di roma e mischiare le carni in Italia si usa almeno dove sono cresciuto io.
I'm not even Italian, but once as a teenager my Dad tried to get me to stop moving my hands around while talking. He realized he made me unable to talk
O.O those eyes
How to be italian: born in Italy, grow up in Italy, try to become italian. If you don't succed anyway, use a time machine and go back in the 60's or so. That's the only way to become Italian.
In Japan, some places put mayonaise on pizza. I disgust it.
The only reason I found this is because jjba exists.
City states led to a lovely expression.
I know Italians don't like pineapple on a pizza... there is a newish pizzeria in Rome that makes a pizza with pineapple. And I'm headed there right after posting this! Muahahahahah
Watched this again...love this one!!
Sono praticamente d accordo su quasi tutto, meno il freddo stagionale e ..la storia che le donne non possono uscire con i capelli bagnati, anche se la motivazione che hai dato ci può stare.
It depends on were you go, or the age of the person you're talking with (usually, younger generations speak better English than older generation). I visited Naples and Rome last June, and people in Rome can speak pretty good English compared to people in Naples. However, because I'm from Cyprus and my native language is Greek, sometimes I could understand what someone would say in Italian and reply to them in English. The fact that some of the Greek words are similar or the same to some Italian words (especially if you take into account that Cypriot dialect includes Italian words too) and the fact that Italians move their hands a lot while talking where the reasons that helped me to understand some of their sayings. Of course, in both Naples and Rome I didn't have any struggles to communicate.
Muito bom! 👏👏😍😍
I really like to lean italian
OMG! best video about Italian coffee culture! GRAZIE MILLE!
That is the coffee pot I have been wanting forever I use to use it all the time to make espresso cafe`. I ALSO BEEN WANTING THE LITTLE CAFE CUPS AND KEEP THEM IN A CURIO GLASS CABINET❤
Por favor ponga subtítulos en español! Gracias!
We just ordered our first coffee, speaking Italian to do so, in Venice - and the lady taking our order responded in Italian! Thank you so much for this tutorial, we've subscribed and are looking forward to watching more videos :)
Grew up with everything you said but in Iran! The dreaded draft 😀😀
So, I am guessing that most Italians wouldn't spend a winter weekend in New England sleeping in a tent with just an insulated sleeping bag. It is always a treat having to dig your way out in the morning because it snowed overnight. :)
In Milano, I am told one should stop into the Hot Dog Club. Do they have nice buns, because nobody wants their hot dog on buns that aren't firm. Also, do they have many toppings at the Hot Dog Club??? Asking for a friend
Your Italian passport should be revoked for even joking about it. LOL
I may want to endure the hot Italian summers at Lecciona to enjoy the scenery. ;-)
I am considering buying a place in Italy, but I would need to return to the U.S. in the summer because it is too hot there. I am unsure if I could tolerate the warmth in the winter, because there it is considered inappropriate for an adult to wear shorts except when going to the beach. I currently live in Maine and Shovel snow wearing shorts to prevent overheating.
I also take dips in the river in the winter. Strangely, I have notbeen sick in bed (except for COVID and Sciatica) in 35 years.
Now I understand where sign language came from
Found this video by accident. Loved it 💕. It's good to see a risotto made correctly. Watching from Australia with a little bit made in Tirano 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
I think that Marco is the bottom and his partner is the top.
How did you sexualise a video about coffee…
Grazie Mille Marco. Bene.
In Spanish you also pronounce as it’s written
WHEN I MEET AN ITALIAN GUY AND LIKE HIM I ASK IF HIS MOTHER IS STILL ALIVE. IF HE SAYS YES I KNOW HE’S NOT AVAILABLE EVEN IF HE THINKS HE IS
I’m here for Italian mafia
How about the cauliflower pizza crust?😮
MARCO I AM COMING TO FIND YOU
Bro is asking to be on the hit list 💀💀💀
