- Delicious Italian restaurants every night for a week? We love an Italian Mukbang! Every year, the "Week of Italian Cuisine in the World" promotes Italian culinary traditions and food-and-wine connoisseurship as a distinctive trait of Italian identity and culture. In collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute in San Francisco, we spent a week trying different Italian restaurants in the Bay Area and experienced the "Italian Drive-in Movie Night" at Fort Mason, where we watched Alberto Sordi's "Un Americano in Roma" ("An American in Rome", 1954). Check with your local Italian consulate or embassy to find out all the participating restaurants. #ItalianTaste

I live down the street from Ideale, wish I could've run into you guys (I've been a longtime subscriber). The only place I haven't been to is Terun. It's good to see you guys out and about! I'm glad Poesia had the back patio. You guys should check out La Ciccia, Perbacco and Seven Hills. I'm worried so many places might close. There's an Italian bookstore called Libreria Pino on Union St.!

I am so glad to see both of you! What a bright spot in the now closed down COVID-19 Califonia. I will be happy to try out your favorite Italian hot spots once enough people are vaccinated and it’s safe to go out again. My husband and I are both in the high risk groups, so we haven’t been out to eat since March.

Lucky you Italian expats to everywhere except Germany. Despite proximity with Italy, it's impossible to find some authentic Italian food here. Not to mention pizza...
