In theory, is it possible to modify a steam locomotive to overcome high climbs and descents? What if we add the same dividers to the water tank, which, for example, in fire trucks and prevent them from turning over on turns? 🤔

Hi there, just found this channel and want to say thank you for expressing the issues I have with some of these ride updates, and boy do I always point out a ton when I go to the park these days. Maybe someday you can look into what I call "the dark room issue." I swear, after a lot of the rides at Disneyland received updates they are way, WAY darker than they used to be. The one I point out first is the seance room in Haunted Mansion. The floating items used to be SO CLEAR, and whenever she would call out for an instrument it would get brighter as the sound effect for it played. This doesnt happen anymore, and you can barely make out what's floating in the air anymore. Most dark scenes in the park are barely visible now and when I point this out to others, they say "Your eyes just aren't adjusted to the dark" or "It's always been that dark." My eyes are plenty adjusted after being in the dark queue of Haunted Mansion for half an hour. There also isn't anything wrong with my vision lol. The other example I think of immediately is Space Mountain. Never mind the horrible replacement projection of Star Wars they are currently using, but it's way darker in there too. The stars used to be BRIGHT, like so bright you could occasionally make out some of the scaffolding inside the mountain when the light passed over it. I hope you keep making videos, I see it's been almost a year since you uploaded but I think its important to bring attention to this stuff and hopefully let the morons currently in charge of the upkeep of Disneyland know how we all feel. Theres a lot of broken and poorly "fixed" effects to talk about all over the park. I think a big video about the current state of Tomorrowland as a whole would be cool. It's such a cluster f**k of broken rides and empty spaces like the arcade, people mover and Innovations. Like i said ive got a lot of opinions about Disneyland and I've been looking for a good channel that talks about them in depth. Please keep making videos!!

Even though my personal favorite Castle is the Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom, I gotta agree with you that the one in Paris is the prettiest

I loved your video as a Disney geek and hoping to get into Theme Park trivia myself. Excellent commentary, well articulated and was fun. I think most people agree that Paris is the best castle, don't think it's too controversial an opinion. But like you said, everyone's list is unique. Great job 👏 👍

The DisneySea version is SUCH an improvement. Everything is working, all the effects are more modern, and I like the dark ominous atmosphere much more. Edit: The vehicle also moves a ton and feels a lot more natural than the disneyland version.

I really wish this ride was still around, I love rides like this. Just nice, relaxing, and fun rides. I do love Thunder Mountain though. Wish I was alive to witness this.

I drove 5" and 10" steam locomotives in a circuit in the mountain for years and i can say that for sure would be a massive explosion xDDDD super nice video i like It so much and you have veeeery good vibes, instant sub :)

Never thought I'd hear about Bitterfeld, which is roughly 30 kilometers from where I live, in a video about the fucking Polar Express. Although I think you some numbers wrong. I can't find anything about a boiler explosion in 1997 there nor the existence of engine 05 516. However there is plenty of information about a boiler explosion on 27th of november 1977 involving engine 01 1516 of which you have shown multiple pictures.

One thing is for sure, we have to sue the company that built that railroad. What kind of crazy person would build a railroad across hills with slopes exceeding 30 degrees, cliffs with a slope of 129 degrees, and lakes?

That's not how physics work, the water would go to the back but still, the locomotive would blow after changing the angle as it wouldn't have the same accelerration

Also how much government funding would the DOT pay? Lol they built a train line from new York city to the northpole. If the train dealrails thats one thing but realistically speaking OSHA would have shut down the transport line an millions of dollars for nothing lol.

I work on older factory machinery that the programming and calibration software won't run on anything newer than XP so I have 2 XP laptops and a XP desktop I have to keep in good running condition. Fortunately I found an upgraded XP version called Black Elegant Edition where Microsoft gave the source code to a foundation that upgraded it, made it free to install without a license and added a few programs, but not a lot of bloatware.

The entire problem with the polar express exploding could be solved with an experimental gyroscopic boiler. That’s basically a hybrid of magic and technology, with the firebox position to the bottom and large tubes around the boiler that would funnel all the heat towards the end of the engine or rather the front it would be really really complex and if not for the budget of limitless money thanks to Christmas magic ludicrously expensive like possibly the most expensive thing in the history of anything ever at that time I think it’s a really really cool concept also also could be using magical fuel like lady from Thomas and the magic railroad

The funny part about this is that well the rails in the movie were built at an extreme angle meaning that any steam locomotive would just explode and not to mention it would most definitely de rail first
