The one in Paris will always be my favourite
True
Agreed
I love Paris’ castle, the features like the trees and the dragon are pretty cool. While HK’s castle is a copycat, I do like the mountain backdrop. I think the new HK castle will be a big improvement to help the park find its own identity
I like the fact the Disneyland Paris Castle is more interactive. I wish all of the castles were like this one . With different themes in each . The dragon sounds great ! Things like this is what is missing from the others . Thank you for your video !
Fun fact, the DLP Castle is more fantasy than realistic because in France we does already have a lot of castle, so the Imagineers tried to make like it really come from a Fairy Tale to impress the French people!
I like Orlando’s castle
Yes, Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty castle is small, old, and wonky … but there’s something special about the one (and only) castle that Walt Disney personally walked through
I really groove on this video! Very intimate and magical TOP 6 with humongous personality! CRAZZYY :))))
You know, I'd have to agree with you on most all of this. For a long time, my number 1 was Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle. But...you changed my mind. Now my list is thus: Disneyland Paris, Disneyland California, Tokyo Disneyland (only because they actually paint their castle on a regular basis), Hong Kong Disneyland, Magic Kingdom (it's last because their castle looks neglected, like a haunted house).
I loved your video as a Disney geek and hoping to get into Theme Park trivia myself. Excellent commentary, well articulated and was fun. I think most people agree that Paris is the best castle, don't think it's too controversial an opinion. But like you said, everyone's list is unique. Great job 👏 👍
I never realised each castle was differently designed. Admittedly I’ve only been to Paris and Hong Kong and I only visited Hong Kong Disneyland about 10 years after Paris (when I was a little kid).
Thank you for this video. Because I'm stuck at home missing Disney, this was a great video to watch. And I agree with your number one pick. The second I heard that they had Maleficent, in dragon form, in the dungeon area, I knew it was an awesome Castle already.
100% agree with this list!
They've just announced that the HK Castle will be ready this month - so exciting. Such a big improvement!
Paris wins for me!
Love the vid and I completely agree with your ranking!!
I really enjoyed the video ! SO FUN !
My favorite is the California one and if we're talking about personality, the original still wins. And because of that I equally love the one in Hong Kong and what a shame they redesigned it.
Le Chateau de la Belle au Bois Dormant is by far the best castle, plus it has the dragon underneath and that makes it unique. It is just a beautiful castle and my favourite, not just because it is the only one I have been to but the looks of the others aren't as good, in my opinion. Plus it has a Christmas shop and a glass shop in the castle and you can go upstairs and it tells the journey of Sleeping Beauty and you can go on some of the turrets and those trees out the front of the castle are so unique to see in the park.
Great video! Thanks for the information.
11:50 "Partially Inapropriate" American puritanism should be a Cardi B song 😂
Hey great review man 👍
Great video, you make some very good points, particularly about the MK castle and not being able to walk straight through. I wish you had spoken a little more about the design of the Paris castle, as well as the gallery on the second floor. Note: technically, the tokyo castle had a dragon as well, which was part of the mystery tour attraction, which closed in 2006
Even though my personal favorite Castle is the Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom, I gotta agree with you that the one in Paris is the prettiest
After visiting 4 Disney parcs worldwide, this castle remains the most beautiful, coherent and complete Disney castle. And the Sleeping beauty theme matches perfectly the country it was built in. Love your top bro!
pls do an updated one, HK disney's castle is way better now
shanghai castle is huge but I think it doesnt look like a disney castle, just a normal beautiful castle
I was in Disney paris yesterday😃
The one from tokyo disneyland castle will be my favitorte
Um, I think you actually could walk straight into the Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland..
Fuck you hit me with the nostalgia at 6:00.
Is that Ellinia from Maplestory?? I haven't played that in ages and I still remember it.
Tokyo Disney needs to bring back Cinderella Castle Mystery Tour
I went to California Disney after being to Paris and Orlando. Thought it was a joke screen at first and it was somewhere else.
omg...the maplestory ellinia music in the background caught me off guard. ~nostalgia~
Pre big bang mages rise up! lol
Rest in peace Cinderellas Castle in Florida. Hopefully they will build it even better
Their Castle is still there. The news that it burned down was from a parody site people believe to be true for some reason
I think the new Hong Kong castle could easily be in the top three, it looks so unique
I agree, the palace of Disneyland Paris is the best one in terms of looks !
All for Paris 👌
Love Castle Disneyland Paris 👍👍👍👍
Why no one mentions the Beast castle from Tokyo??? I know its not a 'landmark' one, but still its large enough, very accurate, and the first one ever to be dedicated to some princess/fairytale other than Cindy or Aurora... Its my fave one of them all
I mean, this video was made in April, a full 5 months before Beast's Castle at Tokyo was opened to the public lol
If you have the ability to time travel to the future hit me up in the DMs
@@ChriswithaK the castle was already revealed (its outer structure) all the way back in February - you could at least give it a mention
@@NenadlPopovic No point to give it a mention since this list only covered the castles I visited. When I was last in Tokyo it wasn't opened. Can't give a review of something if I can't even go inside. I will definitely check it out when Japan reopens though haha
My favorite is the disneyland paris castle becouse of the detail inside, what I don't like about the castle is that there is a cliff on the left side of the castle
👍👍👍❤❤❤
After you see Roman ruins and the Notre Dame cathedral even the majestic Sleeping Beauty castle seems trite. Also, that park is a mess! There is trash heaving out of the trash cans and spilling out onto the pavement. They also don’t keep things freshly painted and don’t make aesthetic repairs, sigh.
Well I mean, when you compare structures that were purely build to flaunt wealth/religious power to a Disney castle built for entertainment/profits, it’s obviously isn’t gonna hold up lol. Like I go to a lot of places too, but I would never take something like the Egyptian Pyramids and directly compared them to Tokyo Disneyland’s Temple of the Crystal Skull.
Also, when was the last time you visited Disneyland Paris? The last time I was there they had fixed a lot of the problems on their operations side (After Disney bought DLP). They did have problems with maintenance and trash before Disney bought them though, so did you go during that time?
I thought there was a beauty and the beast castle 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Merci de la France 😊😊😊
Só o Brasil que não tem uma Disney... 😢😢😢😭😭😭😭snif!
Yeah no, I really do not like Disneland's sleeping Beauty Castle. It's small and wonky and I feel many people say that Disneyland's has a homey feel because it's their favorite park most of the time because they went there first. I just don't like anything about Disneyland's castle.
Ya I agree. I was a little worried about backlash so I put Disneylands higher than what I would have liked to. Still, I would have only put it down slightly since I do believe Shanghai and Hong Kong’s castles are by far the worst in terms of design and attention to detail
@@ChriswithaK Well, Hong Kong at the time of this video was just a copy of Disneyland which is way worse than being the original.
Hi
