- Top 5 Best Pirates of the Caribbean rides at Disney Parks around the World. I would have to agree with your assessment. Disneyland's Pirates of the Caribbean had the size and budget it needed to be the best it could be. The other ones were just "edited" versions, if you will, usually doing better at certain aspects, while cutting out others. I've been on WDW's Pirates and I was EXTREMELY disappointed. The ride was over in 5 minutes and I was like "what was that, I feel cheated!"
Fun fact about the swinging pirate in paris, he uses the same body mechanism as the indiana jones animatronic in the boulder room in Temple of the forbidden eye
Shanghai is the best pirates ride .
Thank you for this video, I love Pirates of the Caribbean. For me the Disneyland Paris version was the best before the 2017 refurbishment and the addition of Jack Sparrow. So now I think like you that the best version is Disneyland in California.

I feel like many of the people who say that shanghai pirates is the best haven't actually been on it. I found the mix of screens and live sets slightly nauseating and sometimes unconvincing, and found the ride a bit boring. It was pretty much just riding a boat watching some cgi on screens (with a few impressive animatronics randomly scattered throughout). I also agree that paris would be the best if it wasn't always broken (this sadly summarizes the state that the entire park is in right now). I personally like tokyo's the best because everything is just so well maintained and it has the spirit of the original attraction (keeping many original scenes that were cut in other versions).

5. Shanghai (I'm proabbly being harsh on this ride, but I just don't like it)

I did ride a lot of times this ride Shanghai pirates. I know all Disneyland theme parks. 1- Shanghai pirates , 2 - Disneyland original Anaheim Pirates. 3- Disneyland Paris Pirates, 4 - Tokyo Disneyland pirates, 5 magic kingdom Pirates
Hm, I would have easily said Shaghai but it is truly a different "experience". Disneyland the original is by far the best otherwise. When you ride it after riding others, you realize the authenticity and how marvelous it actually is. You can almost feel the touch of Disney's hand in its creation too. Not a copy, a complete original.
I’ve been to Paris twice and the first time I went I rode pirates but I was like 7 so I can’t rlly remember it. However when I then went back 2 years ago I completely forgot it was there and you can’t find it very easily cuz it’s rlly hidden
Hong Kong Disneyland is missing out…
HOw many have ridden these ride "prior" to the movies coming out. The updates to ride combining the movies into it haven't worked well to me. A good example is haunted mansion California. Pre-Nightmare, the ride was great, but now it's just a bad joke of a ride. Pirates has started to suffer some of the same fate, and now with them trying to push Red the Pirate and other, err... PC changes that ruin the genre.

Hell no pirates of the Caribbean at California sucks it’s literally just in a house which makes no sense and ruins any immersion you could have and you barely hear the music while queuing. Paris is far superior as it’s in a cool pirate cave that actually makes sense and gives you total immersion and no matter how busy it is you can always hear the music.
As long as you agree Shanghai Disneyland's is not number 1 then I can see your point
