In an angry rage, the defendant smashed his front door and electric bike, so the plaintiff is suing for damages. The defendant argues the plaintiff went to her home first and broke her door and rocking chair. Besides, the defendant claims she already gave the plaintiff money for the damages she caused. The defendant is countersuing for her broken chair, door, and harassment.

Sadly, there are those, especially in Black communities, but I've seen police videos where Whites didn't get the police involved in their personal arguments but were quite ready to handle matters Hatfield/McCoy style, where the cops are just not trusted, and often with good reason.
