- čas přidán 12. 07. 2024
- Anna Moriah "Mo" Wilson stayed with a friend in her Texas apartment as she prepared to compete in a cycling race in May 2022. Wilson, a professional cyclist, went out with her friend and fellow pro cyclist Colin Strickland for a swim and dinner before he dropped her off back at the apartment. Wilson's friend came home after a night out and found the cyclist dead from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators immediately contacted Strickland the next day and informed him of the tragic news, but they knew he wasn't a suspect. Find out what really happened to Mo Wilson that fatal night on this episode of "Prime Crime with Jesse Weber."

Taking someone’s life and ruining your own over a man that doesn’t even value you wow
These sorts of people don't act with logic. They typically are extremely narcissistic and act impulsively without any regard for human life including their own nor consequences. And even if they have considered the consequences they convince themselves they are cunning and smart enough to get away with it which is part of the narcissism.

She was in shock!

I cannot imagine. 😢 Poor thing. I just want to hug her.
it broke my heart seeing that. She will be traumatized for the rest of her life.
instantly had me sobbing when they showed the police arriving while she's doing cpr. these poor women, i'm so sorry for what they went through.
That guy she went on a date with is so “lucky” that neighbourhood cameras existed. Without the one showing he rode home, and without the one showing the time of the gunshots, he would have been suspect number one. And adds another dimension of bad luck for the victim. You think going on a first date the danger is the man you’re going out with, not some crazy ex.
She wasn't his ex. He knew what he was doing. The blame is on Armstrong alone for Wilson's murder, but I don't think this man covered himself in glory.

To kill someone and go pray at yoga class is unbelievable
It doesn't say that here.
@@memoryrinehart at the end of the video, when the woman was on the run, she went to Costa Rica to practice and teach yoga. Yoga is meant to bring peace and harmony to life. To do that after murdering someone in cold blood is psychopathic.

Ladies stop killing each other over men.
Not. Worth. It.
Amen👏👏👏🤜🤛
Maybe he was chad looking charming prince
This is the first mistake Armstrong made. Allowing herself in her mid-thirties no less to be strung along in a 3-year on-again-off-again relationship with a man who "doesn't see her as a life partner". Very selfish of him. But ultimately, she did not have to kill Mo. She should have walked away. Instead, she chose murder. She threw away Mo's life and her own. Over a man who didn't even want to be with her. It's sad.
True statement 100 percent. Women of all ages, stop letting guys get in your heads.
Men and women. It goes both ways.
That poor girl, her eyes wide open as she gives statements to police. Shes in shock, that's awful
her eyes say EVERYTHING. it’s heartbreaking to see and i hope she’s doing better now
for real, that's what struck me immediately was just how terrified that poor girl was. I hope she got some help after this.
You know she will relive this moment over and over for the rest of her life. I just can’t imagine the shock of seeing your friend like that, not to mention the loss of such an amazing person. My prayers go out to all of Mo’s friends, family, and community. Such a terrible loss.
The desperation in giving her friend CPR and then the asking if she needs to stop literally brought me to tears :(

Killing another woman over a man who says he didn’t see you as a life long partner is wild. Someone who really didn’t even want to be with you. That’s crazy. Pathetic.
Right because obviously he was truthful with her about that and wasn't lying and manipulating her for years.
he was mixing business with pleasure and maybe it meant more to her. obviously she wasn’t all there. he was a dominant male in the cycling hierarchy and she was hitting the wall at 34, and along comes the younger woman 10 years younger than her. so messed up. all of it. passion, rational/irrational jealously-something to be learned here. so sorry that Mo’s family had to go through that needless horror.

As someone who lived with an ex for a few months after our breakup, DO NOT date someone with this sort of living situation. @@audreyhuggins8822 Absolutely agree. That scream was all in once. It wasnt the loud alarming scream we know from movies, or when someone tries to alert other people. For me it sounded like a big scared scream - like realizing in disbelief ''This is my last moment... i dont want it - but it is''.. Its absolutely horrifying... its like a deep breath in, and like a ''scream in shock'' (its why its not as loud as it could be). Its real, and the scream shows: Mo knew: there is no arguing at that moment. A ''no!''....or ''please !!'' wouldnt make any sense in that moment. Mo felt that it wouldnt make any sense to say any words. It tells a lot, what she saw in her last moments. What she saw has to be a woman with furious crazy but very deterministic nightmarish eyes, who was waiting and wishing for that moment to come for over one hour. A woman who's face was awaiting that satisfaction of killing her. There was no words Mo could have spoken to that nightmare of a woman. It was awful… very unprofessional
i was on the edge of annoyance listening to her "umhs" at every question and sentence.
When she ran to Costa Rica she was willing to give Collin up on a moments notice, yet, in life, with Collin she just couldn’t bring herself to leave him once he began dating another woman. Makes no sense at all, other than, she was blinded by jealous rage for a woman that even Collin was no longer with. What a waste of a beautiful person & life in every aspect.
Creeps do that sort of a thing.
Couldn’t of said it any better, just move on it isn’t worth senselessness. Sending condolences, thoughts and prayers to the friend and victims family.
The way Kaitlyn stayed calm through the interview was terrifying.
She didn't just take away a life, she ruined so many. The family of the girl and her friend who will have to live with that for the rest of her life!
Not only did she get murdered but the friend will be traumatized for life. That’s sad.
So so sad😢
"I would like to leave" ....continues to sit there. "I would like to leave" .... continues sitting there "I would like to leave if i'm free to leave" ... continues sitting there.
Yeah weird and the interrogator jusr kept questioning her. I dont know how ethical that was.
Non of it was ethical, they brought her in for questioning under dubious grounds.
@@Mbuyiselo5 It's a way around legality but still legal. The problem is when they do that on a completely innocent person.
If she left without an OK to leave she could get in more trouble.
@@notaclue822I agree that interviewer was awful. Also the warrant not actually being for her was so strange.
U know damn well Kaitlin is sitting in prison thinking, I can't believe I did something like this...all over that twerp. Who had no intention of settling down with her. Ever. Was it worth it? Taking a young lady's life from her, & throwing your own right down the toilet. Damn.
Maybe don’t mess with people who are already in relationships. You never know how crazy their significant others may be.
It was weird that it took like 3 different explanations from the cop for the dude to recognize the woman he was with literally the night before...
He doesn't seem very bright
That really was a weird reaction. Maybe his psyco live in had already told him what she had done.
The cop said her first name and not her middle name first and then said Mo. and at that point the guy is probably heading right into fight or flight.
He is not completely innocent, and I don't know why police didn't bring charges against him as well. Evidence against him is just as strong.
I don't know what to make of his response. He was with her so recently, and appears to be putting something together in his head when he hears the news, but this young woman, whom he was intimate with, he denies even knowing her initially. What is that? I don't know what to make of it, it seems very cold to me, but people deal with things in all sorts of ways. If I had to speculate he looks like a man that has just realised the horrific stakes of the game he put people in.
Joseph Scott Morgan saying, "why would you destroy someone so beautiful" is such a weird statement to me
yeah, exactly. it's like he's talking about an object whose only worthwile asset is her looks
I think he was talking about stained glass at that particular moment, using it as allegory
He was talking about her beautiful inner being, a wholesome, determined, kind of person. Not about her outer looks.
Ya I think it was her character ..
@@heatherstewart9300he didn’t know her inner being. Let’s be honest. He knew just as much as we did. He saw she was physically beautiful like we did so he said what he said.
That poor mother’s victim impact statement is the most powerful I have ever heard.
Wtf is that guy describing the victim in the most narcissistic way imaginable..?
no,when he said he doesnot find her a life partner he was describing his ex, the killer.
What’s scary is that we all have a ex, and we don’t know about someone’s past relationships.. I have a guy friend whose ex was so outrageous, that he moved and changed his name because his ex was so possessive.
That is scary!
😮
I don't have an ex 👋
I think at this point we should all realise that there are alot of psychotic people out there more than we'd like to believe.. Maybe its all within us. Maybe we just never know what triggers us to do the unthinkable but I guess beneficial to watch things like this to learn what people are capable of for the most mundane reasons.
Thanks for scaring everyone

I qualified as a teacher but never used it you cant make a living like that😂 she will have plenty time in her cell to do yoga.. the lazy bum
@@Mure-te5pr very true! I've listened to many exorcists talk about the dangers of yoga.
The Forensic Death Investigator kept calling the deceased beautiful and remarking about her in ways that I found to be creepy. Surely I am not alone in noticing this.
Ruining your life over a low value man is crazy
How horrible. Women, don’t get angry at the other woman, get angry at the man who chose to cheat (or be with that other woman while you were broken up). You have no idea what he said to her. If your man treats you poorly, leave and do not return.
If they were broken up, why exactly does the man deserve to be the object of her anger? You sound like an unhinged misandrist and victim blamer.
huhh? you high or smth? what this has to do with the guy? she was 35yo
@@kbuss10 What do you mean? She was angry at her because she was losing her man to her, or thought she might. She put the reason of him leaving onto the other woman. It was not the other woman near as much (if at all) for the man that was in a relationship with shooter to make the decision to cheat. Even if they broke up, they were under same roof, which means very bad idea to be with another woman (essentially cheating).
It has everything to do with the guy! Why else do you think she was angry/jealous?
@@kbuss10 it's time to stop being blatantly misogynistic and stop listening to alpha male podcast bs. time to grow up, kid.
@@flannelpillowcase6475 alpha male is a myth. But just go and believing that there is such a thing.
What does being beautiful have to do with whether you are killed or not?
Legally no difference, but emotionally we humans root for beautiful people more because we are lookists.
Do any people in these comments not think that maybe Mo was a beautiful person Inside?! Maybe you're the one with the problem.
Because whether you like it or not beautiful people naturally or worked on to improve are treated differently
@@wickedtess9407 Who defines "beauty"?
also they say nobody had anything bad to say about her like yea obviously who tf is gonna start saying bad things about someones thats just been murdered not only is that in bad taste but also will most likely make them a suspect if theyre looking for one
He just spent time with her the day before yet acts like he doesnt recognize her name when police come to question him? Ok, that's weird. Dont care about how many 'nice' things he has to say once he's had time to manufacture them.
He's acting shocked because he knew there was a problem with Armstrong.
well maybe he knew her from different name. or maybe he didnt expect to called by police about her. his brain still doing some processing
The officer didn't say her name correctly, though, and the way he corrected himself sounded wrong also. He had the last and first names mixed up.
The dude’s reaction is incredible. He sounds like: “So you’re telling me that the two women I both f’d, on and off, may not have liked each other? How so? Why would that be?”
I know right. Thank you.
And don't forget him "not recognizing the name" of the chick he just went out with last night. 🙄
RIP to the young woman. However, “why would you want to hurt someone this beautiful?” Is one of the dumbest comments I have ever heard.
Yeah, sounded like he was sweet on her

@@URightBut 100% agree Mate.
some BS womanist punchline for sure. you never hear that about a guy....
He's implying that if she were ugly then it wouldn't be so bad.
He’s probably had many women since this happened, and has not thought about either of them. So not worth it.
Yeah. He didn't even know who the police were talking about at first when they approached in him his garage. Not sure what the women saw in him. He's very unattractive and of obvious poor character. I suppose the biking awards impressed them?
Do you ever stop to confirm first before posting your probability theories?
Why should he stop dating?
Blame the man. Go figure.
@@LadyAngela678 … is he supposed to never date again?
When someone is obviously dead it is WRONG for dispatchers to tell someone to perform CPR
Maybe it would be worth pointing out that the dispatcher was on the phone with her, and listening to the woman's description of her friend whilst under tremendous emotional distress. It is possible that, in certain cases, the description given to the dispatcher is not accurate, like not being able to tell if the person is breathing, or where the blood is coming from. The dispatcher cannot trust what the woman is saying 100%, so they have protocols in these cases - like instructing them to perform CPR. Had the woman told the dispatcher that her friend's head was not attached to the body for example, then I think the dispatcher would have not mentioned CPR.
I've read in other accounts that Cash was not aware of the severity of Mo's injuries. She was in shock.
Yea!!! What they said
How would the dispatcher know if she is "obviously dead"?
The female “former special agents” unique form of vocal fry in grating
The first person to question the ex certainly isn't a detective right? That's a quick way to let a guilty person go free, she's terrible.
Her sister should be held accountable for letting her use her passport to flea.
@@asmile949 exactly my thought, unless she stole the passport from her sister.
@renatep.7566 yea either she knew or her sister stole it
Criminals who flea really tick me off.
Who says sis allowed her to take it? Wake up.
Her sister reported it missing!! She didn’t know her sister took it!!
The lady interrogating her is sooo unprofessional.
That’s what I thought, that was like a teenager trying to get another teenager to admit to some gossip ,terrible interveiw
She must have been a brand new detective who really doesn't have the skill yet.
Pretty obvious
Cops are no better than the criminals they pretend to catch
I thought so too at first but I think it was an act. She wasn’t under arrest so the detective was trying to make it like two girlfriends having a chat to draw as much out of her as possible before she left.
This one hit different. Thank you Jesse for your amazing commentary. RIP Mo😢
honestly, I dont know how defence attorneys for cases like this sleep at night.
They do it for the money. They look at it as just a job because that is what they are taught in Law school. Law school don't teach you about Justice, they teach you that it is YOUR job to defend your client regardless of Justice. Don't kid yourself and believe them when they tell you that they are in it for Justice. LOL!
they were right, there was no evidence of her commiting the murder she should be exonerated
Doesn't matter. Deep down, they know they're guilty. These attorneys dont have a conscious @Suzuha_Amane
How did he not know who the cops were talking about? That was weird..
Well they called her Anna and most people knew her as Moriah.
If they would have said her name right it would have went different lol
Bc they didn’t use the name she goes by. This isn’t someone who’s been friends with her for years and years and knows her birth name and every name she goes by. He knows he by the name he was introduced to her with.
