I love that your community cookbook is also your go-to cookbook.
I love holding my own childhoods memories!!
Hi Jill! I just love these types of cookbooks!! I have quite a few from my Mom's sorority days that She gave me. This Souffle looks super delicious!! I love that you can taka a short cut buy using the frozen ones. I agree sometimes the not so pretty ones taste the best!!!
Aren't these books great! I love that you have your mom's! I love shortcuts so much! And yes, may not be the prettiest but sooooo good!
That looks Magically yummy my Soul Sista, love Soufflés!!!
Many thanks my soul sista!
So great Jill, and looks so tasty! Love this!
Thank you so much Susan! Great to see you!
What a delicious childhood memory Jill! Blintzes are amazing on their own, but to add that beautiful custard! Over the top! Such a special dish! Love you! Cheers! 🥂💞
So good my friend! Love you right back!
How fabulous Jill I have heard of Blintz's but never eaten them and definitely cant get these frozen ones here, I've never seen them anywhere. What a fantastic dish OH YES bring on the sour cream!!!! I would love to try this childhood on a plate it looks beyond delicious!😋!!!
Patrick! If you can find them, this is definitely worth a try!!
Just talked to my friends about doing this for a poolside brunch. I'll also say that crepes are pretty easy to make, but I'll go with the frozens for this recipe.
They definitely are! But then comes making the filling and the assembly. 😊 this is the recipe I grew up with. I hope you love it as much as I do Jim!
Absolutely amazing your video dear friend stay connected please waiting for your next video❤️❤️❤️❤️💖💖💖💖💕💕💕💕💕💕💝💝
Hello Jill 👋😋 This looks fantastic! Thank you for sharing. 👍🥰👍❤️❤️❤️😁
Always Cheryl! Have a wonderful weekend!!!!
Oh, dear Woman! Always share your personal memories!!! You always tickle me, frequently move me and now: I am beside myself! Keep on truckin' Lady! Eventually, I will get you the fabled, always storied "Tallerini"(sp?!?!) recipe!
God bless you and yours, dear friend!
Hi Constance! Oh I would love that recipe and learn what it is! Childhood food memories are just the best! I can't wait for you to read my book!
Love this recipe Jill. I haven't tried blintz before but they sound yummy. I can imagine them in custard too with a drizzle of butter. I'm right tempted to try this out if I can find blintz pancakes...
Take care...👋
Hi Margaret! I'm hearing from out of USA friends that these may not be available. But I know your skills! 😊
Nice video stay connected..
I love everything with sour cream, amazing! I don't think theses blintzes are easily obtainable here in Central Europe but they resemble our sweet cheese filled pancakes (Topfenpalatschinken). I think I'm gonna try baking these with the topping.
Hi C.W.! You are in central Europe? How cool! Yeah, this is an American company so I'm not surprised. But thank you for teaching me about topfenpalatschinken! They sound delicious! If you try it, please let me know!
That looks fun! And yummy!
It so is Jen!!
wow looks so Good!! hope all is well
Thank you Tim! Hope you are back playing pickleball!
Sherman Oaks - Did you go to Grant High or North Hollywood High. I went to North Hollywood High class of 1970 (yeah, I'm old)
Hi Toluca! I actually went to El Camino. But growing up we had friends all over the valley so I am assuming this came from supporting someone's fundraiser. And you are only as old as you feel!
Oh man, blintzes on steroids. Blintzes are the first thing I grab from the buffet at Southpoint. Didn't know they came frozen.
Hi Dawn! Seriously on steroids! I hope you try them! You'll never go back to the buffet! 😂
This looks wonderful, but I can't get frozen blintzes here, doggone it! 😢 (You said "Let's get started" three times! 😜)
Awwwww......bummer! And yeah, that is a phrase I love to say!
I've been looking at frozen blintzes at the market for as long as I can remember, but now I have the proper motivation to get some and make this --- I can't wait! That custard looks so beautiful with the sour cream, I bet uncooked it would make a delicious base for making ice cream or gelato. Thanks for another winner!
Hi Leguminator! This is definitely a great motivation! Mine are in the freezer section near the frozen soups. If you give it a try as a base, let me know how it went!! Enjoy!!!!
Impressive or not, I'm 2nd.
Always great to see you John!
