S.A.: back to your question: I also train judo twice a week. On these days I will train twice: in the morning Iron Wolf training with minimal less reps, in the evening judo. It's gonna be hard, but I see no other way. One possible option is to shift one day and train on Sunday as well, but then you have no recovery day - it's up up you.
@@s.a.8390 To be honest, it will be too much on those days, but exactly because of that we have to be realistic and reduce the reps, otherwise we won't have power for the martial art training in the evening. No shame if you train twice on these days. See you tomorrow in Rep City, bro! 😉💪🐺
S. A. Something that will help is to try and give yourself at least 6 hours between workouts, due to various reasons that much time (or more) will allow the body to recover a bit, and make sure that you up your calories on those days (eat more carbs) so you have enough energy.

Iron Wolf You do the burpees daily? Where do you fit in the dips pull ups runs? Two a days? Do you set that pace in garrison or only when deployed? Thanks.
I did a lot of rucking in the army for many years. There are a lot of little tricks and stuff to keep your feet together. Best tip is boots that fit. Some boots just aren't going to fit your feet right. I love garmont T8s. A lot of guys like rocky s2v, but they just aren't shaped right for my feet. So they are good boots that are just the wrong shape for me. Same with me and merrell, decent boots, wrong shape. So if you're having a lot of trouble, some trial and error with different boots is probably required. Check garandthumb's video here on youtube about boots. Once your boots are good, you can get into the little tips and tricks. First, your feet do get conditioned over time, and some people lean hard into that and build up totally nasty hobbit feet and that carries them through. I always babied my feet a bit with lots of lube and tape, and I had success with that approach. There's a good book called "fixing your feet" you can get on amazon or wherever. Ultrarunners have great tips on foot care as well. Good luck
Ben Murphy thanks a lot man I’ll look into that. Got a pair of boots that rubs the tops of my feet a little thinking about filing down the leather on the inside a bit and maybe putting some duck tape in there.

I asked during the live vid, I know you cant get to everybody.... this question could be for anyone.. is there a proper distance between dip bars? I have the stands but I am always moving them. Anybody?
@@_.alex.- thanks. I usually go pretty close, just wanted to make sure it's not cheating. Never done dips at a park on proper bars, wasnt sure if they are supposed to be a certain distance
I think listen to your body is a good answer, but if you need a specific place to begin, 16.5 inches apart is the standard for gymnastics parallel bars, and commercially available dip stations are 18-24 inches apart. Gymnasts often train with a wider grip using either one of the bars or turning at an oblique angle. If you are building a dip station, you can angle the bars so you have a range of grips to choose from. Vince Giranda popularized a very angular type of dip bar that was pretty wide spread for awhile in the 80s-90s. Don't see it as much anymore. If I could guess wolf's answer.. dip with what you got and pay attention to your elbows and shoulders.
