Should the Hertz 6x9 be watertight? Mine sure is not. The two tweeters are leaking water down in the bags. I bought the stage4 Hertz from you for my 2017 street glide cvo. I checked that all gaskets are ok and found that the actual speakers that’s leaking. This can’t be right or??😮

I have a 2015 CVO Road Glide with 6 speakers... 2 fairing, 2 tour pak and 2 bag lids Cant wait to loose all 3 amps and put in just 1 amp and have more power with a newest Soundstream! My third amp is attached under the tour pak with a gob of wires, hope that mess is gone after install. Awesome job Jay...

Since those lower fairing adapters are new, can we get an install video? I’m interested. You did my whole system and I wish I had done the lower fairings.

It doesn’t make sense that speakers for motorcycles aren’t water proof Even on nice days, a pop up shower or thunderstorm is possible Should we just not ride if there’s any chance of rain? 😂 Is this membrane thingy available for purchase if you’ve not done the installation?

I bought a Soundstream and installed on my 2011 street glide. I also bought a Hertz amp and front speakers and installed. I have a fairing mount radio antenna and before I installed new system I had good radio reception, and now I can barely pick up any stations. I checked power and connections on antenna and radio and everything looks good. Have you seen electrical interference from amps that cut down reception, or sound stream have issues with antenna s?

From your experience where does the factory GTS radio start to clip?

At 14:45 in the video, there is a reference to plugging in an amp turn on wire to the MRR2. I have a 2020 Road Glide And the radio install video for road glides does not mention installing with an amp. Is it better to plug-in the amplifier turn on wire to the MRR2 or should I use the factory connection in the upper right side of my faring? Thanks for all you do!

Rockford Fosgate should be embarrassed to have their name attached to such a system. Then they expect us to spend money to purchase their Harley Davidson speaker kit. If we cannot have faith in the systems, why would we put our faith in the more expensive?

If I already had an amp installed and I am adding the radio with the MRR2, what would be the connection sequence for the large connector on the back? Would the MRR2 plug into the radio or would it plug into the harness from the amp? thanks!

I made a very big mistake. I purchased my sound stream B2 radio through Gibbys in Ontario Canada. They provided absolutely no support. I had to make a trip to their location, which was about an hour and a half drive and even that didn’t go well when they tried to provide support at that time For formatting the Maestro. I was still having problems they offered at $150 an hour to help me out with that iPhone sound streaming in Quebec instead and got some assistance there to get my radio up and running, but I’m still having issues and then I’m don’t seem to be able to resolve on my own. I recommend anybody in Ontario. Do not buy your unit through Gibby in Saint Catherine.

I have a '24 Street Glide with stock basic amp. I've upgraded the speakers to the Hertz Neo and done the rubber sound deadening matting to the speaker enclosures. This has made the world of difference, the sound deadening completely changes the sound to a nice thick solid tone, with lots of projection, amazing really. I can't get the Kenwood MX160-2 amp here in the UK and the cost is prohibitive (Import tax/VAT) to buy it from USA. I can get the Hertz 4.500 or 4.900 here though. Would you ship your new A2B cable for the 4.900 to me in UK when it comes out? (do you have a date?)? Another question I have is, as the 4.500 is smaller, would this fit under the fairing as a piggy back amp on the stock amp? If not would it work as a replacement amp with your cable? I currently only have fairing speakers so would be probably be enough for what I want.

Hey Jay, have you ran in to any problems with the HD14SBWL power light staying on, and when you rermove all power and fuse and reinstall everything it doesn’t work anymore??

Jay, this is the second time I’ve watched this video. I’m on a Yamaha FJR, and do my own work. You impress me with your workmanship and attention to detail. I’ll probably never put one of these in my bike, the HD platform just isn’t my cup of tea, but I do like what I see. It was your videos that got me to direct my friend your way to purchase that SoundStream v2 for his ‘15 Ultra Classic. Thank you for taking good care of us with your customer excellent service. OK Jay or anybody I just received these speakers the 6.5s plan on putting them in my tour pack. So I was looking at the tour pack/lower fairing grills this is gonna sound stupid but how in the world do you put the grills on? the metal grill is over the screw holes. Help please.

I installed the soundstream hd14 stereo and first had factory harley speakers it sounded a little better for sure, but after adding the hertz speakers, the clarity as well as the volume is night and day. With factory speakers I would have to have volume at 45 on highway speed. With the hertz speakers in my 2014 ultra I normally keep volume at 35. The difference is seriously unbelievable.

Sir, I appreciate your Input but to make this a more informative video… Customers need to know how to interview an installer because most of us have a budget, once the numbers are agreed upon we don’t know what the heck happens to our bike after that… All we know is the sound is coming from the speakers🤷🏾‍♂️. We don’t have the ability to watch the work
