    I bought and paid for my radio May 20, 2024. Still waiting for delivery one month later when I inquired response was we are very blessed to be so busy and will get to you as soon as possible. I get you busy, but it’s been one month perhaps I have to come from Toronto and ride there to get my radio as well. It’s about 1200 miles,

    Jay, thank you for the V2 install video. I have been waiting for a 4.900 and V2 combo install since I ordered the V2 & MRR2 module from you back in early April. What I was hoping you would show and was surprised you didn't show was the connections between the two units. I wanted to see if you used a speaker output T-harness, as the wiring harness you sold me for the GTS to Hertz 4.900 uses, or if you chose to use the RCAs out/in instead. There is a great deal of talk of the higher voltage RCA outs on the V2, and typically, a good RCA out/in has a better S/N ratio than a speaker out of a head unit's built in amp into another amp. Some detailed information, or better yet, a thorough comparison of the two installs would be greatly appreciated. You have the equipment there to empirically show the THD and output differences. Again, thank you for another install video. Have a blessed day.

      We use the same t harness, no rca connections, high level is always better when doing a Harley install

    Happy for everyone, enjoy the v2. I remember the excitement i felt 14 months ago when I received last year's model, now Sounddtream has an upgraded version, hmm. Did they have this technology b4, and decide not to add it to the first hdhu.14si? Maybe, maybe not, i get it it's about selling radios.

    • @volunteeraudio
      @volunteeraudio  Před 2 měsíci

      It’s about creating awesome radios, listening to your customers about what features they would like added, then executing those thoughts into an amazing radio. The hdhu14si is still a current model also, the v2 has more features at a higher cost.

    Hopefully Soundstream upgraded the screen for the V2. I have the HDHU+14 and this screen is soft. The heat caused a bubble/separation to appear on the top left of the screen, near home button.

    • @volunteeraudio
      @volunteeraudio  Před 2 měsíci

      Are you sure you removed the screen protector? It is a glass screen, never seen any heat separation

      I have the 14+ and no issues. Sits in a hot garage or a hot parking lot all day at work. No bubbling screen. Sounds like the screen protector film to me too. I almost missed that when installing.

    Will this work with a tuner? The HDHU 14 +si will not work with a tuner.

    • @volunteeraudio
      @volunteeraudio  Před 2 měsíci

      The 14si and the v2 work in bikes that have tuners, the custom gauges will not work if you are using a tuner to auto tune or to view gauge info through a phone app. Once you have the bike tuned remove the programmer or turn off auto tune to have the custom gauges work
